Is there a team in the NFC East that has a chance to make noise in the playoffs

So what team is the best?

Do the Eagles or Dallas stand a chance to get back on track with a win this week?

If the Eagles loss is their season done?

How many games will it take to win the East?

Do any of these teams have a chance to make a run in the playoffs?

I want to see what others feel.

I voted right now for Dallas as the best team but I think all 4 are still a crapshoot. Although the Skins are starting to fade back into mediocritiy a little bit I think they are still formidable. I think Dallas is starting to form into a very good team. If Murray is the real deal they will go on a good run. They have a fairly easy schedule to do so as well. If the Eagles beat the Cowboys this weekend they've righted the ship. The defense has played great shut down ball for 6 quarters and the offense is still very good despite the numerous mistakes. If the defense keeps Romo and the Boys on it's heels I think the Eagles have a potent enough offense to beat any D in the league. Giants I think have been somewhat lucky but Manning has not made the usual mistakes. He's also throwing for a boat load of yards. They still need to proved they can stop from going into their November swoon.

IF Dallas or Philly makes the playoffs, they can easily get on a hot streak and make a lot of noise, maybe even win the big one. Too much talent there on both teams they can pull it together.

I think that the dallas d looks extremely good and if they can form somewhat of a run game to complement romo dallas has a very good chance to be a dangerous team. Philly has top much relying on vick and I don't see him lasting the while season

The problems for Dallas look like they are being resolved. The young offensive line came up with some good blocks, and less miscues. That helped the running take off. It's hard to judge of the corners showed up, or if feely really sucks. They did let Lloyd get away with some. Romo is romo, and the turnovers will occur, as well as the drives down the field. This test against philly will be a great measuring stick.

I'm standing by my preseason prediction that the Giants are clearly the team to beat in the Beast. Especially consiering that they're in 1st place in week 7 despite enduring an avalanche of injuries.

Second question is flawed, as neither Philly or Dallas were on track for the playoffs from the beginning.

I think the Dallas defense, however, has been one of the biggest surprises of the nfl this season. I thought the combination of their poor secondary and the lack of an offseason to learn Ryan's defense was really going to hurt them. I expected them to give up gobs of points and be in tons of shootouts. I didn't expect them to be playing anywhere near this well until next season.

Having said that, I think people are overreacting to the Cowboy's performance the last 2 games. Ryan's defense stifled Brady and co. last year when he was in Cleveland. He's one of the few DC's who has figured out how to slow Brady down. And the Rams are absolutely horrendous with Bradford, let alone without him, like last week.

Injuries have crippled the Redskins the last couple of weeks. They're in a must win game vs. Buffalo on Sunday. Lose this week and I see them fading behind the Cowboys, and maybe even Philly too.
