Never seen the Divisional and WC races so wrapped up at this point. Green Bay and SF are virtual locks for Divisional Crowns plus a first round bye. The Saints are in really good shape at 7 -3, but the Falcons could challenge. The only good race is the Cowboys and Giants.

Green Bay - Bye, Home-field throughout

San Fran - Bye

NY Giants - Div Champ, Host WC

NO Saints - Div Champ, Host WC

Detroit Lions - WC

Chicago Bears - WC

The Wild Card race looks like a three team race between Detroit, Chicago, and whoever finishes second in the East (Dallas or New York). The Falcons could make a push for the last WC spot, but it looks like it will take 10 wins to get there. Eagles need to win out. I don't see that. A loss tonight and their chances would go to zero. Eagles best chance is to win tonight and keep their hopes alive in the division.

Bears looking good. G-men and Cowboys in the East is gonna be good. Cowboys take the East, maybe, hopefully! Its gonna be fun.

If the Lions win out and the Packers lose one more (maybe to the Bears or Giants?) then they'd win the division, so it isn't as locked up as you'd think. That said, I think the Packers will end that scenario on Thanksgiving.

I think the Bears pass the Lions for the wild card as their schedule down the stretch is pac10 easy.
Well they are tied now that the Bears won. So yeah, with their schedule that gives the Bears the edge. Probably sets up a Detroit matchup against New Orleans....with the Bears playing the NFC East winner.

The Lions or Bears are not winning out and the Packers are not losing three games. It is not 100% lock, but it is over 90%.

Whodathunk Caleb Hanie would play such a pivotal role this year?

If he plays alright, the Bears get the 2nd WC. If not, the Giants will take it.

Lions vs. Cowboys will make for a good first round game.
