Raider Nation
Devil's Advocate
The comeback begins here IMO.
Assuming this is sarcasm... but yeah it's sad. That said, the NFC this season is just in shambles outside of the top teams. Even if you just picked the Top 6 teams you'd still have had almost the exact same playoff teams, the seedings would've changed though. Carolina would've been replaced by the Eagles. And the seeding would've been Seattle, GB, Dallas, Arizona, Detroit, Philly. Which probably would've been more interesting as the games this weekend would've been Dallas vs Philly and Arizona vs Detroit. So Detroit and Dallas probably would've moved onto the next round. Sadly though, Philly has sucked recently too. I doubt they'd put up that much better of a showing than Carolina has tonight. The difference would be we would've had two jokes of a game instead of just getting the jokes out of the way today.Carolina won their Division, of course they should be in the playoffs. If there were ever an argument to change the playoff seeding to a NBA style affair this game is it. Carolina shouldn't even be in the playoffs. And i just feel downright bad for the Cardinals now, they had a legit shot at a deep playoff run if they were out here with Ellington and Palmer right now.
True...playing well.Though Aaron Rodgers might not look forward to playing this d line.
Care to point out where I mention Dallas or do you just want to look stupider with each post? All these years of watching Bears football has made you delusional.Again... Where did I say anything about the Packers playing Dallas, let alone preferring the matchup?DudeWhere is that (Dallas) even implied? You should put the crack pipe down. Why would I care?at Mr Pack not caring who wins this.

Neither team will beat Green Bay at Lambeau if Detroit pulls the upset.

You're saying I'd rather have Dallas come to Green Bay than one of these teams?
You are insane, or wasted. I'll say both
It's a simple as if Detroit wins, the Packers play the winner of this game.
For you to suggest that you don't care is either comical over confidence or a blatant display of ignorance about what scenarios dictate the Packers matchup next week
I'll let you pick which one it is.
TheWhat are you two arguing about? Of course he cares who wins in Dallas. But this game? I get his point even if I disagree.Again... was put there on the off chance that GB does get matched up with Carolina it's findable. Not sarcasm at all. If you win your Division, no matter how bad it is, you should be rewarded with a playoff slot. Now a Home Game? No, not with that bad of a record. But a team should definitely be rewarded with a playoff game if it win's its division.Assuming this is sarcasm... but yeah it's sad. almost had it, should've just went out of bounds once they earned it.Fair catch this so you can try to break 100 yards.
Or take a negative 40 yd play and set an all time record for ineptitude for playoff offense.Fair catch this so you can try to break 100 yards.
If Arizona scores a TD there, they get momentum and win the game.
Refs did their job today in this game.
Yeah, it's not fair to judge the Cards off of this game. They were so much better this year than this.77 total yds. Fewest ever.
Comical and sad. This Cards team could have been a force if they stayed healthy.
Nice season Arz. Better luck next year.
Stewart looked pretty solid.I actually missed this game and I'm a Panthers fan. Can someone tell me how Stewart looked? Clearly Cam was awful, but Stewart looks like he had solid numbers...
Stewart looked good as did the whole Car running game. He ran decisive and with authority.I actually missed this game and I'm a Panthers fan. Can someone tell me how Stewart looked? Clearly Cam was awful, but Stewart looks like he had solid numbers...
Most pathetic series of laterals I've ever seen... Too bad... they could have avoided a historic mark for ineptitude.A ridiculous end to the saddest NFL playoff game in...ever.
It's been in the rules for years:Question about the play when Cam got hit as he threw and there was question about it being a forward pass...
Whether the ball went forward or backwards or not, I don't really care. BUT is that a new rule that if a defender hits a QB and his INTENT was to attempt a forward pass, it's incomplete even if the ball goes backwards?? I have honestly never heard or seen anything like it. A completely ridiculous rule even by current NFL standards.
When a Team A player is holding the ball to pass it forward, any intentional movement forward of his hand starts a forward pass. If a Team B player contacts the passer or the ball after forward movement begins, and the ball leaves the passer’s hand, a forward pass is ruled, regardless of where the ball strikes the ground or a player.
Have you ever seen it before? It's been in the rules for years:Question about the play when Cam got hit as he threw and there was question about it being a forward pass...

It's pretty much the same thing they are looking for on "empty hand" passes to determine incomplete pass or fumble on sack attempts no?Have you ever seen it before? It's been in the rules for years:Question about the play when Cam got hit as he threw and there was question about it being a forward pass...

I guess it's the NFL's goal to be needlessly complicated in favor of more offense. What good reason is there to not call a pass that travels backward a lateral?
The contender that wasn't meant to be. Alas.Yeah, it's not fair to judge the Cards off of this game. They were so much better this year than this.77 total yds. Fewest ever.
