NFL.com scoring in total Disarray! (1 Viewer)

My game hangs in the balance over this and I am hoping some one can shed the light on this for me.

The score of my opponents DST (Miami) reads 2 points however if you look at our scoring system that is not right. Miami had 3 sacks with no turnovers recorded. They also let New England score 41 points which according to our system penalizes them -4 points

3-4 does not equal 2. What is going on with NFL.com? do they adjust things later?

Sacks:1 point

Interceptions:2 points

Fumbles Recovered:2 points

Safeties:2 points

Touchdowns:6 points

Kickoff and Punt Return Touchdowns:6 points

Points Allowed 0:10 points

Points Allowed 1-6:7 points

Points Allowed 7-13:4 points

Points Allowed 14-20:1 point

Points Allowed 21-27:0 points

Points Allowed 28-34:-1 point

Points Allowed 35+:-4 points

The interception returned for a TD doesn't count against D/ST so they really gave up 34 points. That's your 3 point difference right there.

Miami Defence did not give up the interception TD, so it doesn't count against the point total. so they only gave up 34, which is -1 in your scoring. 3-1=2.

Thanks. I was hoping it was an error, oh well.

Wow! NFL.com just adjusted the score late. I have now won my game and he has a -1 for his defense. I guess they counted the points after all.

Me and my dad dealt with this exact issue last year and the site did exactly the same thing the next day. Almost split up the family but at least now we understand the Def scoring.

Waivers went through last night. I was leading my league so pretty much missed out on everyone I wanted. Guess what? I checked back and NFL.com has made my game a loss now and took away the points against so basically I lost my game and missed out on waivers after my loss. I will never play NFL.com after this year. I am done!

NFL.com

We have identified a scoring/statistics issue with some team defenses that may currently affect the display of your League Standings and Week 4 Matchups. NFL.com is actively working on a fix. The display of Standings/Matchups will be updated soon. We have confirmed that no other aspects of the game are affected. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
Patience doesnt give me the players I missed out on last night on Waivers! :goodposting:

I understand your issue due to the waiver issue...but, the DEF scoring part was correct. The offense was on the field and thus, the DEF did not allow 41 points... but that sincerely blows about the Waiver thing

I've heard nothing good about NFL.com fantasy leagues this year. This from friends who have leagues there.

NFL.com used CBSsports.com fantasy software last year. This year, all NFL.com fantasy teams were transferred to the actual CBSsports.com servers and became completely disconnected from NFL.com. The urls also changed. Domains changed from YOURLEAGUENAME.football.nfl.com to YOURLEAGUENAME.football.cbssports.com.

My beef with CBSsports.com software is that you pay over $100 for a league and then they put ads all over the league homepage. I will be looking to transfer because of this constant ad pounding. Free leagues should have ads. Paid leagues should be ad free.
