I remember reading that ESPN could not have NFL Primetime due to the new TV deal. Does anyone know if NBC will have a recap show on the NFL Sunday games?

I loved Primetime. It was a great way to get up to date on the Sunday games.

doesn't help.. with Stu Scott, no way I am goona lose my appetite at the dinner table watching him...

sure hope there is some type of recap, before or during the sunday night game..

"this week 1 game recap, sponsord by GM" 13 - 16 times instead of pure commercials would be sweet...

Well that kinds sucks. I will miss the Berman and Jackson recap. We still have the pregame though.

Man Scott's hosting it now.... I'm not a big fan of his. If they think he's their new Berman, which i would assume since he's getting more and more time now, than espn will soon be slipping further and further away from its former greatness.

If he would just wear a patch over that eye, maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

Maybe carry a sword, and a sash too...he could be like a Bucsfan or something. StuBuc could be his new in studio name.

I'm not real worried about Sunday night football. With the crew NBC's pulled together: John Madden, Al Michaels, Bob Costas, Cris Collinsworth, Sterling Sharpe, Jerome Bettis, and Peter King, they seem like they know what there doing and will put together a great show. I for one loved how they handeled Monday night football.

Now say what you want about Madden, and Peter King we all know is bad, but this crew still vastly out shines espn's lackys that they pulled out for sundays last year. Monday night could be real bad.... Nothing like Stu Scott tossing it over to Theismann and Tony Kornheiser to ruin a perfectly good football game. God that sends chills up my spine just think about it. I just pray Kornheiser isn't terrible so he can pull that broadcast into the acceptable category.

NFL Network is doing the new "NFL Primetime". It's going to be called NFL GAMEDAY. Rich Eisen (my bro) to host. 90 minute program.

I am going to miss NFLPT, of course I do have the last 14 years of it on tape. yes, every episode. Yes, :nerd:

Oddly enough, according to this site here, it says, "Back for a 20th year this fall Mondays at 6 pm" or something like that, and still touts Berman and Jackson as the hosts, and no mention of Stu Scott. Let's hope it stays that way. I can't stand Stuart Scott. I only like Berman when he's doing Primetime, mostly because I grew up watching that show. Can't stand Berman any other time. "You're with me, leather."
