NFL Schedule 2012 Quirks (1 Viewer)

I've only looked hard at Philadelphia's schedule, and I noticed the following:

By my count, Dallas has a 4-day advantage prior to their Week 13 game (Thanksgiving for Dallas, MNF for Eagles) and there are 4 teams with pre-byes (byes the week before the Eagles game - NYG, PIT, DET, and WASH), including Weeks 3,4 and 5. Good luck with that.
That seems like a stacked deck against Philly, IMHO, especially Weeks 3-5.Anyone else notice anything odd or interesting? With so many Thursday games, I wouldn't be surprised to find other quirks, but I haven't dissected the whole thing.

This is a little bit of a different quirk. The Jacksonville Jaguars play the AFC East in Weeks 13-16.

Week #13 @ Buffalo

Week #14 vs NY Jets

Week #15 @ Miami

Week #16 vs New England

I can't remember the last time a team played its same conference non divisional games in 4 consecutive weeks.

In 2009, the Kansas City Chiefs played the entire NFC East in weeks 3 through 6. 9/27/09 - @PHI10/4/09 - vNYG10/11/09 - vDAL10/18/09 - @WAS

bears played the afc west 4 weeks straight last year. i thought it was rare at the time but maybe it happens more than i would think.

A couple of divisional foes face each other twice in 3 weeks, seems like it should be more spread out :

Balt & Pitt in weeks 11 & 13

Chicago & Minn weeks 12 & 14

Houston & Indy weeks 15 & 17

Definitely. I know you can't schedule for injuries but if a key player or two goes down for a couple of weeks and misses both divisional games it could be devastating.
