NFL Trivia (1 Viewer)

Reworded in case that was confusing.

In NFL history, only 6 QBs have passed for over 9000 total yards in a 2 year span. Who are they.

The remaining person has the 2nd highest 2 year total.

Nevermind that part, I messed up Excel. Still 1 remaining, but doesn't have the 2nd highest total.

Ahh, of course:

Yep, that's it. This was mentioned during one of the broadcasts today, but they didn't name who the other 5 QBs were so I thought I'd go check.Interesting that there are 3 from the current era and three from a previous era. And, like I said, one of the current guys is about to do it for a 4th time. The other guys have each done it once.

What about during a three year stretch?

Brees is poised to post another 4500 yards so would that make him the first ever to eclipse 13,500 in 3 years?

Actually the oft cited stat in the Falcons game was that Brees has thrown for the most yards over 10 games in NFL history right now. He's looking at 5000+.He was a single pass (where Lance Moore did not turn around on the final play of the season) from breaking Marino's record in 2008.

2007: 4,4232008: 5,0692009: 4,3882010: 4,6202008-2010 = 14,0772007-2010 = 18,500Brees has already become the first ever to eclipse 4,500 yards/year for 3 years and 4 years. Now he is working on a 5 year span. That is actually really amazing. It's tempting to chalk it up to the passing nature of the league now, but no one else playing today is doing what he is doing, as evidenced by how far back we had to go to answer this trivia question.
