You obviously don't know who's ranked 1 and 2 in PIMs per game.Flyers are 26th btw. (No Scott Hartnell, but I'm sure they miss his 30+ goal upside.)

It was a silly trade, no denying that. Burger blows, kinda knew that coming in, was hoping I would see just a little more. Some nights I still ask myself who number 18 even is. :lol: :cry:

People around here have been falling all over Eichel, so much so that no one really is talking about Hanifin, even though BC certainly is the higher profile of the two programs at this point.

Hanifin's got great size, skates and handles the puck well and is strong at both ends of the ice.

The scary part is that, even though Eichel just turned 18 last week, Hanifin doesn't turn 18 until January.

I guess, but they were +360 @ Pittsburgh last week and got destroyed 5-0

they were +355 @ SJ last year and won, then did it again this year at +313.

I guess this one is pretty high for a home game.

 
There's a 24 hour channel dedicated to all things NHL. Not hockey like minor league, college, KHL, it's just NHL coverage. And they can't show every goal from every game each night.

 
Nice to finally get a win in a game you were badly outplayed in.That Burakovsky snipe was a thing of beauty,the kid has been doing this since camp started.Holtby finally showed up which also was a huge plus.

Hawks were clearly the better team though but sometimes the puck luck just doesn't go your way and this was one of those nights.

Kind of surprising to see BC as sloppy in its own end as it was. First time losing three in a row in more than four years.

But plenty of talent on both teams. Ryan Fitzgerald, whose dad Tom played many years in the NHL and works for the Penguins, is a Bruins draft pick. Demko is Canucks property. Evan Rodrigues was the star last night and is having a good start to his senior year after struggling last year.

Who would you guess leads the NHL in points since start of 2011 season? Answer surprised me somewhat. Guesses at top 5 in that time?

 
Tried to search for a college hockey thread but couldn't find one.

Don't really want to start a discussion or anything but after moving to Hockey East, my alma mater UConn beat BC and now are in OT versus BU. :thumbup:
