NHL Off-Season thread:Down goes Kane! (1 Viewer)

Any doubt Kane will be back for the first round? Taking full wind-up one timers today.
Zucker is expected to be back any day now. Kane's happened two weeks after. same injury.
Zucker back tonight it appears. Nino also good to go after it looked like Dumba might have broke his foot. Cooke very close too.

Fontaine has been poor lately. would like to see Schroeder back in. Schroeder and Zucker in the lineup at the same time adds a ton of speed.

would be nice if they'd put Folin in for Prosser but that will never happen since they refused to dress him over Leopold who is brutal. Prosser was playing okay before the injury but has looked bad since coming back.

Lots of depth with everyone getting healthy.

Wow, insane finish in Philly. Isles score 2 goals in final 1:45 with Halak pulled to tie the game. Schenn throws a Hail Mary from the half boards and it squeaks through Halak with 2 seconds left in regulation.

Its just asking too much now, ANOTHER defenseman hurt. I think they are digging into Wilkes barre 4th line def now. Uneffing believable

Very entertaining game with the Icelanders and Rags last night

Caught a bit of Price once again making a strong case for the Vezina, just has been outstanding all year long.
Vezina? that should be a given. Hart is the only question left, and that's only because goalies never win. that team is mediocre to below average without him.
Carey Price runaway Hart winner; Erik Karlsson for Norris per TSN coach poll
Hawks announcers were making a case for Dubnyk to win the Hart.

Price is almost a lock isn't he?

They were asking if someone could win the Hart who'd only played in half of the games. Their thesis was that he'd made such a huge difference to the team.

This will go down as one of if not the biggest choke job collapses in NHL history. I know pens have sh@@ load of injuries, but no effing excuse for this bull sh@@ .

One of the quirks of the new playoff system I keep forgetting ...

If two teams need to go to the head-to-head tiebreaker and they've played an odd number of times, they drop the first home game for whichever team played the extra home game.

This could be the case for the Bruins and Sens. But in order for them to finish tied in points and ROW, Ottawa would need to win its last two in regulation/OT while the B's get four points without getting a non-SO win. Almost impossible, but I guess it could happen.
