Nick Chubb dropped (1 Viewer)

Nick Chubb was dropped two days after our draft in a 12 Team PPR league. How much FAAB out of 100 to spend on him for a team without any RB depth? Or should I save the FAAB for the season? I have an IR spot in this league.

Dynasty of redraft?

Redraft. No keepers. Thanks
Sorry, how deep was your draft?

I'm leaning about $40. Basically someone dumped a 10th round pick for some reason.
It was a 16 round draft and Chubb went at 7.2. Not sure how the guy felt comfortable dropping his seventh round pick without any news coming out within the past few days about Chubb after he drafted him, but here we are. This league has been around for a few years and this owner is usually pretty competitive.

I have my doubts about Chubb even playing this season, but I’m tempted to spend some FAAB to throw him into my IR slot.

I should add that I went double hero RB and have zero depth beyond some speculative handcuffs that I didn’t begin drafting until the 11th round, so I’m hoping for a RB WW gem to fall into my lap. I’m going to need to hit on one this season. Maybe it’s Chubb.

I'd revised my initial amount down. Based on 16 picks the FA pool is deep and when the byes hit and people have to back up QBs it will be even deeper. Chubb probably should have been drafted. Is Ford available?

I'd bid $15 just to make sure someone doesn't get him cheap. If you can also bid on Ford then I'd back up the truck on both and have the Browns backfield as your RB3.

Thanks very much for the advice. I’ll try with $15 and if someone else decides to blow their FAAB stack on him, then God bless them for wanting Chubb more than I did.

Ford went one pick before mine in the 11th, and I wanted him badly. Thinking about trading my 10th round pick Palmer for Ford, and will especially try for this if I manage to get Chubb.

I wouldn’t go over 10 just to make sure no one gets him for free.

You can’t spend more than that on someone that won’t really help until mid season if all goes well especially in your RB situation. Save the FAB for the inevitable RB injury week 1&2.
