I thought Nick Mangold was the MVP of the Jets-Pats game as he completely manhandled whatever D Lineman the Patriots through in front of him, including Vince Wilfork.

Anyway, I was reading the New york Post Sunday conversation with Mangold, and he said he had a ticket to the Super Bowl last year, and he was in Miami, but decided to give it to some guy. He was holding a sign that said he needed a ticket and Mangold gave it to him free of charge.

I wouldn't go either if I lost in the Championship game. And I don't think he needs the extra grand or so.....why wouldn't he give it away?

1) it's not exciting for an NFL player to go to NFL game

2) he just lost his chance to go....no way I would go

That's the only Mangold is getting to the Superbowl this yr is by getting a ticket to the game.
