No more Fantasy Buzz on Lexy (1 Viewer)

Not sure how many people used this, but I never missed a footballguys Fantasy Buzz update last season. Was a nice little service.

I woke to a text from them saying they are not running the Lexi service anymore. Sad. I listened everyday. My bet is Todd Lafferty pops up somewhere else with this type of show con Cecil.

Hi everyone: Todd Lafferty from Lexy.

First of all, I want to thank the first couple of posters for their kind comments. Over the past two years, we were really proud of the show that we delivered and it's good to know that we created something that had value to you guys.

The good news: The Fantasy Buzz is not going away. I've talked to the people at FootballGuys and we're going to continue the show on a yet-to-be-determined platform. Plans are to have this up and running in the next 3-4 weeks. (We're not in too big of a hurry right now, given the fact that owners and players can't figure out how to split up $9.4 billon a year.)

Once we find a new home, I'll put a post here to let you know where. If you like, you can also email me at TLaff19@gmail.com and request notification once we're up and going. I'll send you an email. Football guys will also be including the links in their daily emails and on their website.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if we'll have the ability to send texts/emails once a new show is posted, but I'm going to try to find a service that does that. We had some competitors that had some pretty slick interfaces and we'll use the best one.

Both as the host of the Fantasy Buzz and the Director of Business Development for Lexy, we always truly appreciated and valued the tremendous relationship we had with the founders of FootballGuys -- David Dodds and Joe Bryant -- the guys we did the shows with every week -- Cecil Lammey, Sigmund Bloom, Andrew Garda, Mark Wimer and Jeff Pasquino -- and the subscribers to FootballGuys, who became our audience. For those of you who are avid readers of this site and wonder about what the FBG people are like, I can say with 100% conviction that, to a person, they're some of the kindest, most down-to-earth, intelligent people you'll ever meet. Truly a great group.

Again, thanks for listening. We'll definitely be back soon.

 :goodposting: Glad to hear Fantasy Buzz is staying with the Footballguys offerings! I'm a big fan of the show and I love working with Todd to do the matchups segments in-season. Good luck good buddy, we're all pulling for you in whatever comes next! Mark Wimer
