No One Crips Like Gascón (1 Viewer)

On a side note: these continual recall efforts in California are terrible. They’re almost always started by conservatives who can’t seem to abide the democratic process, they almost always fail, and they cost the taxpayer millions each time. Can’t you guys just wait until the next election?
How many conservatives in your opinion live in San Francisco?

Wasn’t the SF DA recall mainly D’s?  I doubt there are many R’s there.  Don’t blame the R’s when Gascon is thrown out either.  I couldn’t make a good case to keep him.
It was started by Republicans. Of course many Dems vote for it too once it’s started. It’s really sad, nobody seems to understand the principle of a republic anymore. Elected officials are supposed to serve terms of office without being beholden to the voters’ wishes until the next election cycle. If we’re removing them everytime they do something voters don’t like, then they will be subject to the chaotic whims of the public, which is NOT what the founders wanted. Conservatives used to understand this (liberals never have.)

These are not one-offs in the DA’s office that Soros backed - it’s a pattern of neglecting the public at the expense of their idea of progress.   Baltimore’s just got the axe.  Kim Foxx in Chicago should be soon also.  Are the people in those cities to blame?

Only if they are conservatives

If they voted for recalls yes. Recalls shouldn’t happen unless there is corruption.
