NO STAT ZONE: give 3 predictions from the gut (1 Viewer)

The TB Bucs skill players will largely be avoided in FF circles. Guys like Josh Freeman, Cadillac Williams, and Kellen Winslow will go late in drafts and will, for the most part, have inconsistent up and down games throughout the season, but will start to gel late in the season and will absolutely crush it in the FF playoffs:

Week 14: @ Redskins

Week 15: vs Lions

Week 16: vs Seahawks

Most owners will probably only play these guys out of desperation and/or due to injury, unless you're a savvy shark and read this thread.....

Someone not named Ronnie Brown & Ricky Williams lead the Dolphins in rushing in 2010.

Michael Turner is a top 3 RB in all formats

Wes Welker is not in the top 50 WR's at season's end.

I think some people are confused about the meaning of "give me something in here not based on stats."1. Raiders and Chiefs beat out Chargers and Broncos.2. Randy Moss loses all motivation and falls of a cliff.
I think some people are confused about the meaning of "give 3."

CJ does his Faulk impersonation again, although not quite as well as 2009

Detroit Lions win the North, lose first playoff game to the 5 seed Redskins

Darren Sproles is the Chargers RB to own in most formats

Vincent Jackson comes into camp for final few days, AJ gives him the original one-year tender, long-term deal worked out during season, plays all 16 games and finishes in top ten.
I'll bet you a million dollars the bold doesn't happen. :blackdot:
What odds are you giving me. Given the latest news I'd say I should get about 15-1. BTW, don't have a million. How about $20?
He has a 3 game suspension looming. You can keep you're money. :ptts:
Some of us play in playoff leagues, maybe he's predicting the Chargers to go far in the playoffs? ;)

1. Maclin & Jackson go over 1000 yds

2. Hardesty gets 1000+ & rookie of the year.

3. Emmanuel Sanders has 40+ receptions. :homer:

If they trade for Vincent Jackson and somehow manager to keep Haynesworth, the Redskins will make the playoffs.

1. Antonio Gates breaks rec/yds/TD for single season TE numbers

2. Devin Thomas will be the value WR in the NFC

3. Saints go back to back

bonus- There will be a strike in 2011

1. Antonio Gates breaks rec/yds/TD for single season TE numbers
I'm gonna go the opposite and say age/injuries caught up to him and this year he finishes outside the top 10.Raiders make the playoffs, on the back of their top-10 defense (since they will be on the field 1/2 as much this year).I will also predict that while both predictions above come close, that neither actually come true.I love these predictions:Maclin & Jackson go over 1000 yds.Ringer scores more ff points than CJ.

Not much gray area between career numbers and falling out of the top 10. If that (Gates not in top 10) does happen, SD better check the rearview mirror in the standings.
In my "almost" predictions, I think the Chargers win the division at 9-7 with the Raiders close behind at 8-8.

1. Brett Favre's career ends with a season-ending injury in the first quarter of the 2010 season.

2. 49ers win their division and a home playoff game.

3. The era of emerging QBs is delayed when Flacco, Ryan and Sanchez all fail to make the playoffs.

1. Josh Cribvs will have 500 yds rec, 500 yds rushing and 8 tds this year.

2. Bills will win only one game this year

3. Freeman (TB) will hit 2750 passing yard mark and have 15+tds and 10+int

Well, I like the 49ers because they're pure of heart, Seattle because they've got something to prove, and the Raiders because they always cheat.

i like this post, nice job on the team assessments...My 3-

Jerricho Cotchery leads the AFC in receiving

Terrell Owens leads the NFC in receiving

Fred Davis and Chris Cooley combine to lead any other single TE

Kevin Kolb finishes the season as a top 10 fantasy QB

Phillip Rivers drops out of the top 10 fantasy QB's

Pierre Thomas finishes in the top 10 RB's

Marion Barber outperforms Felix Jones

MSW = top 15 WR

Austin outperforms Fitzgerald, Calvin and Moss

IF Favre plays at least 13 games and makes it thru the playoffs the Vikings will the Superbowl. While holding the Lombardi Trophy #4 announces his retirement and lives happily ever after on his farm.

Detroit skill players live up to their potential (for once, GASP!) with WR Megatron finishing in the top 5, RB Best finishing right around 10th, and QB Stafford somewhere around QB 10-12. Since their defense stinks so badly they miss the playoffs, might even finish 9-7 this year.

Patriots stink up the joint this year; at best a .500 team and miss the playoffs. They have other teams in the division that are much improved in NYJ and MIA. They are getting very old and is going to show up BIGTIME this year. Beyond Brady to Moss there is not much to get excited about on this team. Even Maroney will get hurt or underwhelm once again leaving no one to run the ball.

J.McKnight has bigger fantasy impact than LT.

B.Favre doesn't make it all 16 games.

1. Alex Smith finds his way squarely inside the top 10 QBs this year.

2. Marion Barber will remind everyone just how good he is when healthy and playing a semi-limited role + goal line.

3. Wes Welker finishes the year with more than 100 catches.

1) Tony Romo is the #1QB and the fantasy MVP. DAL offense is going to be a machine this year.

2) Michael Bush becomes a top 10 RB

3) Steve Smith CAR returns to stud WR status.

1. Carson Palmer finishes outside the top 20 QB

2. Reggie Wayne will see a dramatic drop in his production.

3. Aaron Rodgers will be the #1 fantasy QB

The Steelers finish 5-11 ... if they're lucky.

Matt Cassel throws for more yards than Tom Brady.

Chester Taylor outgains Matt Forte (total yards) by a 2 to 1 margin.

Mike Williams leads all rookie WRs in receptions and TDs.

Lance Moore leads the Saints in receptions.

Jacoby Jones is a WR2.

Jets don's make the playoffs and have a tumultuous .500 season

Falcons lose to Green Bay in the NFC Championship, GB loses to Colts in Supe Bowl

Matt Lienart manages to hold his job all season having a respectable year and AZ gets knocked out of playoffs round 1.

Cards have the number 1 RB tandem

Brandon Jackson becomes "The Man" in Green Bay rushing attack. Terrell Owens outperforms Randy Moss statistically. JETS miss the playoffs.
Lookin good thru one week! Bad news for Ryan Grant but I believe its good news for green bay. Jackson in my opinion is a better all around running back and there is not a better pass protecting running back in the NFL. Sorry to toot my horn but I wanted to read this thread again anyhow.
