If Horn is the #1 in NO and Colston is the #2, it would stand to reason that since Copper takes Horn's place and Henderson replaces Colston, then Copper would be #1 and Henderson the #2, right? So If TO is the #1 receiver in the cheatsheets, how does Terry Glenn fall so far behind Henderson in the same match-up (presumably both #2s)? I have Colston, Henderson and Glenn and TG is in my lineup and that's the way it's going to stay. Just an observation.

Henderon and Copper play the same positions on the field that Colston and Horn do - it's not a ranking

Huh? Yeah, that's what I said. I meant Horn runs the WR1 routes and Colston WR2 routes.

Exactly.You are overthinking, NJ OAK.Under your theory, Horn's a better fantasy play than Colston. How do you think that ranking would work out?And TG is *probably* low because JJ and MBIII are likely to see the ball as much as 50 times and NO is susceptible to over the top passes (Owens), not intermediate ones (Glenn/Witten).

I get your logic as far as the running game is concerned. Point taken. But back the actual positions. Harrison is the WR1 in Indy, right? This is the same situation. I am not saying that Horn is a better Fantasy player. Obviously Wayne and Colston have outperformed their counterparts. I still believe my logic in the original post is sound.

Whoa. Now that I disagree with. Colston runs a lot of crossing and over the middle routes that he broke due to his size, power and speed. Henderson has a completely different game. He's a burner.

Yes - but Henderson is the one more likely to break a big play than Copper. You are more likely to see Copper catch 5 for 50 and no TDs whlie Henderson gets 3 for 85 and a touch.Same with Glenn v. TO on the other side.I am not going to expose where each player is ranked in relation to the rest of the league, but, in this game, I would rank them as Dodds did:TOHendersonGlennCopper

There are so many things wrong with this that I don't even know where to start.

Also, the thory is the Siants will be playing catchup and thus throwing more...I think this game is just going to be good period...

I'm going to it so I am pumped. I am a cowboys fan and have Henderson and Bush and Carney...so I am hoping for high scoring...

Horn = 6.1 targets, 3.7 catches, 69 yards, .4 TDs per gameColston = 8.6 targets, 5.4 rec., 87 yards, .7 TDs per game

Explain it to me like I'm shuked.

I disagree big time.I think Parcells will be trying to control the clock with the run game and occasionally taking shots over the top.I htikn it will be close for the first half and the 'boys will make half time adjustments and pull away in the third.maybe some late game heroics by the Saints, but I think the Dallas D will control this game from gun to gun, thereby keeping this a relatively low firepower game.

Does your fantasy league not give points for moving the ball? Tell me that Horn is the possession receiver, and I won't argue. But Colston = moves the ball more = more fantasy points.

I think we were implying the same things.I thought you were indicting my post for not giving Horn enough credit. Of course Colston moves the ball - he has twice as many FDs and 4 more TDs.
