ok i am in a ten team non-ppr prety standard scoring league.

i know the draft will go cj and ap one and two.

so i am sitting at three and I just think in a non PPR turner is looking really solid and safe at three.

ami i crazy about taking him over mjd or rice.

No bro, not crazy at all. see my thread from earlier today about htis exact issue. I am torn separating the 4 guys after cj and adp.

Turner looks real good as do the rest of them

lets hash this out knowing there is probably no bad choice

ok did not see ur earlier post. and i am not taking him over ap or cj. just debatin taking him over rice and mjd.

my case against mjd is that i think jacksonville is going to be horrible and i like mjd but i kind of worry about the stephen jackson effect, great talent but nothing else around him.

i like rice a lil more than mjd and i think baltimore should be solid this year, with the maturation of flacco, and addition of boldin. so really its only that rice has only had one go around to put up the stats, i hate to use the three pick and it end up that rice turns into matt forte on me. (was burned by forte last year).

which is why i like turner, he is consistent, he is only back on the team. and i think offense should be potent enough to keep him on field with lots of scoring opportunities.

Yes, you are crazy taking him above CJ, AP or MJD
Really? I expect the Falcons to score quite a few more TD's this year than Jacksonville. I see MJD and Turner (and Rice & Gore for that matter) as pretty equal, definitely the same tier. I don't think it's unreasonable at all to pick Turner over MJD.For the record, like I said in sjdogs' thread I would pick Rice in that situation assuming CJ and AP go 1-2

Not crazy...maybe a little daring...but not crazy. With that said, every year there is a "on-the-rise" team that disappoints and the way the Falcons looked in that preseason game, it could be them. A couple of big players did not play, but they weren't so impressive and while I understand it is preaseason and each team treats these games differently, if I am risking such a high pick, I like to think the team as a whole is clicking, not only their best player. I own MJD in a keeper league and it is something I worry about in owning him too.

The Falcons may score more TDs but Turner also has Gonzo and Roddy White to share TDs with. And Turner has not been Mr. Durability. And MJD has been the man in a bad offense for a while. No reason to think he can't do it again. Definitely MJD over Turner
