Are there no longer cap penalties for cutting players? Haven't read about any with the recent cuts.

Giants & R Bernard have been unable to agree 2 a contract restructure. @AdamSchefter reports Giants plan to release him.

Gotta be a bit and an alias...as between this and the other "notable signings/trades" thread, there's a whole lotta being posted around here...Can folks at least cite their sources when posting this stuff?! Oh yeah, I forgot...they don't have a source, since it's not real news (not yet, anyway). With that in mind, I heard the Saints have released RB Ingram after a strange clause in his contract about not having any accidents with any semi-trailers was triggered. Ingram still gets tickets to 2011 Saints home games, and a $100 gift certificate to Denny's for his troubles...
