NY Giants make change on offense (1 Viewer)

I don't much care about the Giants but am curious what folks here think this will do for or against Shockey?

From NY Daily News

We Buffalo fans effectionately referred to him as Kevin "KillDrive" when he was the Bills OC.

I'm sure what you mean is, "what will this do for the Giants offense" right?

I already had penciled in a loss for the Giants against Washington, but this is even more evidence for me. Pretty sure they'll have a new coach next year.

And you came to this conclusion because?

The way I see it, is that it has to be a good change for them, and he works directly with Eli, so maybe he will play to his strengths.

I dont care what his last name is, Eli needs to manage a game, not control it. He is not his brother, and was never even close to him(even in college). Watchin him play in college, when he needed to "take over" a game and march down the field, it was not pretty.

This year is no different and if they just use the running game, and let him manage the game, like big ben did last year, and rivers has been doing ALL year, good things will happen.

They SHOULD roll this week. Division rival aside, recently they have played very well against Gibbs' crew and Washington is not really a good team.

I wonder if this means we will see Tiki and Jacobs in the backfield at the same time.

Perhaps he will call a corner fade route to the 6'5" Burress when he is being covered by some 5'10" corner (instead of a slant) should the Giants ever make it into the redzone.

Maybe even split Shockey out wide in the redzone. If they get down there.

Oh and can the Giants get someone new to call the defensive plays too? Because Tim Lewis sucks.
