This week, for example, there were nine games which were not within 11 points of the spread, and most of those were blowouts.
Yeah, it's a shame that neither the Colts nor the Broncos were never able to get Peyton any halfway decent WRs.
[For the record, I don't buy the Manning-as-choker argument, either. But to argue that Montana was only better because he had Rice is silly, not least because Montana won his first two SBs without him.]

The choking thing requires a person who is capable of choking. Peyton doesn't have the choke personality. Just hasn't had a lot of fortunate situations a guy like Brady has had.
