He is coming off the PUP list and hopefully will make it to the active roster. This guy was a beast in college and my understanding was, without injury he would have been a 2nd - 3rd round pick. He also seems to be a great kid with a very good attitude and work ethic. It's not like Zona has a bunch of guys tearing it up at LB, I think if he is healthy he could be starting sooner rather than later.

Any IDP'ers or Zona homers have any input or thoughts on this kid?

I'm Arizona but am by no means a Cards fan. Schofield has been mentioned more recently because of Hayes coming off the PUP. I remember hearing on sports radio that they thought he'd make it to the active roster and that they had high hopes for him, but I don't think anyone really "knows"

I thought he was going to play DE though, not be converted to an OLB

Thank you for the reply. Not sure he will be big enough to play DE in a 34, but if that gets him on the field, that will be a start.
