Ocho and TJ partying too much the nite before? (1 Viewer)

Maybe it was the camera angles but at one point CJ looked like with his head back his eyes where shut and he was dozing off. TJ appeared to be in a daze most of the nite and there appeared to be a compelte distancing between them and Parmer, unlike what I see with the Moss and Brady camera shots. TJ was animated when he made the 4th down catch but his fire soon died out. CJ drops a makeable catch for him then kinda of walks around sheepishly like ohh hmm sorry guys. These guys and Parmer seem to be having some internal issues they dont want out to work out.

How did you reach this conclusion?

I just got the impression CJ was dissatisfied with Palmer, and TJ was probably thinking wtf am I chopped liver as Carson tried to go to CJ 12342343 times in a row to give in to his dissatisfaction.

Palmer's accuracy seemed to be very bad this year. Palmer and Johnson also are not on the same page and that really manifested at the end of the game. That being said, Palmer laid one up at the end of the game and Johnson lacked the heart to catch the ball. A pass that any pro WR worth his salt would have made went right through his arms.

Ocho Sucko. Where can I get one of those HOF jackets he wore in week 1?

Exactly , Ocho is way overrated every year and is nt a team player .

I think that there is a general frustration between the team. Nothing to do with partying... it has to do with the offense having all sorts of weapons, but looking like a bunch of rookie's who are new to the system.

WHAT??/ Wow is this reaching seriously.

Maybe they were tired of their defense sucking and not being able to get off the field, while they sat on the bench

Dumb

A lot of those shots were simply disgust that the Defense could not force a 3 and out.

I did see TJ vent a bit of frustration, seemingly at Lewis, when they finally made the decision to go for it on 4th down, and TJ caught the pass.

I think the Bengals will completely implode over the next two games - too many issues going on all over the place.

Agreed, that is a ball CJ should catch. Neither TJ or CJ looked really happy all night. That was a miserable game... I was hoping for a more exciting contest.

With all the discontent on display, I tend to think this could be the end of the Chad Johnson era in Cincy.

Not crazy about the play selection. Fourth and short... time not an issue... Pick up the first and you get multiple shots at the end zone.

Sorry, but putting up 13 against the Niners, you don't get to ##### about the defense. If you can't stay on the field and get your own first downs, don't whine about the D not stopping them on the other side. TDs win games, not FGs. The Bengals weren't playing a defensive juggernaut, if you can only get in the endzone once, keep your mouth shut about the D and just do your job. I didn't see Johnson go around apologizing for dropping an easy catch for someone of his constantyl self promoted talent. He just walked around with his helmet in his hands looking a fool. I didn't see Carson come up and get into his face about the drop.

Is there any clearer signal that key skill players have lost confidence in their coaching staff?

These guys are pulling a Moss Raiders effort.

Time for a new head coach.

I also didnt see Chad get in Palmers face about throwing 50 check downs to TJ instead of being more aggressive....This team needs a change at coach that is all this amounts to. The players are unhappy with the play calling and the play on both sides of the ball. They are not aggressive on offense and yes the offense has a right to be pissed at the defense for letting a 3rd string QB look like the truth out there scoring 2 tds.

The frustrating thing to me is their offense has taken a serious turn for the worse this year. TJ had a right to gripe about them making the 1st down on the 4th down play. With those playmakers, and their record, why not go for the 1st down.

CJ is a waste of roster space at this point. He definitely looks like a Raider's Moss.

I can't help but think of Chris Henry as a thug. But, that's just me.

And it appears they have completely abandoned their running game. How do you have a DeDe Dorsey in the game with a healthy Rudi and Watson on the sideline?!

I think it is time for Lewis to go. I think a great replacement would be Cowher, if he wanted to get back into the division.

You know somehow the Browns D is statistically lower than the Bengals but I dont see Braylon snoozing on the sidelines while their D cant get 3 and out. Ocho, TJ, Parmer get paid to perform on the offensive side of the ball, they have been around long enough and have probably with practices and games played catch like 10,000 times, they need to focus on what they can control and dont give me the crap they cant perform because their D sucks. They are not interested or motivated at this point to perform that is it bottom line.

This is an example of unsubstantiated stuff we see in following weeks as "I've been hearing CJ and TJ have been partying too much this year."

I took it as discontent with their defense. Every time the 49ers went on offense they had a sustained drive that ate a lot of time off the clock. Cincy only had the ball for 24 minutes.

What a bunch of sucks. They know their defense sucks. The offense was supposed to be their meal ticket, and they did jack.

umm, after Chad caught the first pass for 8 yards and then Palmer overthrew him when he was wide open for a 65 yard TD on the 3rd play of the game he did not get another look until the end of the 3rd quarter. He was looking at TJ and Henry all night until the 4th quarter.

If they were putting up points, then I could see them getting mad. But if they can't get their own first downs, then don't ##### about your D giving them up. And when you pout the whole second half, you better damn well catch the game tying TD when it comes your way. I agree about the coaching change, btw, but there was no pride shown by the players last night in what should have been a winnable game.

I agree Chad should have come down with the ball at the end of the game but that was far from indicative of his evening. Carson CONSTANTLY overthrew him, threw behind him, threw in front of him, nowhere near him all night. It's been that way all season. If you think Chad doesnt have talent or has lost something you're nuts. He still makes some of the toughest catches in the NFL week in and week out. Carson has laid him and TJ out more this year than any other QB i've seen in recent memory. I dont know why he's regressed so much this season, but he really has

#5 in receptions#2 in rec. yardsthis year alone. I agree he is certainly a wast of a roster space, the Bengals should simply cut him now and activate someone off the practice squad.

I don't care how much a player is paid if they are not buying into what the Head Coach is selling they are not going to perform. See the Falcons for another example. Much like when TO pouted when Parcells didn't make him the focal point and get him involved early Chad is the same way. No one on that team is buying what Marvin Lewis is selling period. The coaches job is to make sure the players know and believe in the system and plan he has created. Lewis has failed in that this year.

Ocho Tanko may not have been out late partying, but I think he may have been placing bets with a bookie, and tanking that game.

How has he helped team chemistry? I guess we'll see what happens in the off-season. Stats alone doesn't make a winner. And, for the record, a practice squad player in place of Ocho stinko= no playoffs. Oh wait, they're not in the playoffs anyway say you?

Not Henry. He only threw four passes to Henry the entire game and all of them were bombs. Made no sense that they didn't try to get the ball to Henry more in intermediate routes as well. But I thought their entire game plan was pretty p**s poor. They faced a terrible run defense and Rudi Johnson didn't get a single carry the entire first quarter. Instead, they came out and tried to wing it all night despite the fact their passing attack has been hit or miss for weeks. That seemed like a prime game to use the run to set up the pass but they came out trying to take big shots downfield, failed and then kept trying to do that again. Horrible game plan in my opinion.
