Odd weather alert on FBG Weather report SD/Jax game (1 Viewer)

I know nothing of weird wether patterns in so cal right now. But WTF is 'dense fog" in san diego, the sunshine capital of the country.

Any local insight? Is this going to be 'ground level fog'? Will this actually impact the game?

The Bears and Eagles famously (I think it was the Bears) famously played in a game like this about 25 years ago. As an owner of MJD and Ryan Mathews I would tend to think it would be a good thing (kinda hard to see the ball getting thrown to you if the fog is thick).

I remember that playoff game. 25 degrees, 16 wind chill. Bears led the whole way. 3 interceptions by each team and 1 lost fumble. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fog_Bowl_(American_football)

I doubt it's anything close to what the Bears-Eagles game was. Regardless, it means MSW will not be able to see any of the passes not thrown to him

In terms of how dense fall will affect the stats:

I think it will make the stats harder to see.

Yeah, I live in San Diego... unless the game is going to be played at 6 am there isn't going to be any fog.
