It's OK, just jump back in next week. You're still 3-0...I will close newbies from coming in in a couple of weeks..but a lot of folks that started off 1-2 the 1st week, just gave up...this week it looks bad again.

I have to do a lot of work on this thread tonight...I am serious about the deadline, but I might move it to 3:00 Saturday...I can't make it Sunday because people will simply change their picks.I started this thread and this is in no way meant to be rude but since it isn't costing any money nor is their any real money being won I think its OK if we play by the rules I implemented when I started...it's not easy EXcel tracking everybody each week. I asked for the Friday deadline because I can start uploading the tracks when I am sipping a cold one on Friday Night/Sat morn.If you post after the deadline your picks do not qualify for the tracking that I do...sorry but it's gotta be that way. I'm not trying to be mean but I am doing this thread for a reason and I will explain more in the Week 3 edition which will be out tomorrow. Thanks for your understanding guys.

I rely on information from various sources, which is first organized thursday. The truth of the matter is, i cannot guarantee 3 on friday, but win or lose, i can promise that when i post, i will have given consideration to the games i post that warrants the post as opposed to rushing it to meet a deadline. TRUST ME, mop- i appreciate all the valuable info you give here including organizing this tracking, i will insert my picks when ready, as soon as the games have been processed , and i will start a separate thread so as not to make more work for you my friendgl

KC/OAK under 53.5 - Oaklands D isn't as bad as they say. On the road they wore down verse NE. They are at home and I say the D takes a step up.. Call me homer.

San Diego +3 - I'll take the points... Denver looks horrible this year.. They don't seem to be working on the same page..

Detroit -2 I don't like anything about Chicago on offense.. The D is solid but how long till it catches up to them?? They can't continue to stop teams when they can't rest..

1-2 1 was a push but a loss in the betting world.. How did Chicago muster up an offense??

2-1 last week, losing with those Rams. (I don't think I was alone though )

Gonna stay with taking two teams and one over under after comparing my lines with actual spreads...

MINN +3 @ Cincinnatti: After losing badly in week 1, here's thinking that Culpepper wakes up and puts together a pretty good game, against the not-so-ready Bengals. Sure they're improved, but beating up on lowly Browns doesn't impress me that much. I'm pretty sure Minn is the better team here and should win the game outright, points are a bonus.

New England @ CAROLINA +3: Call me crazy...but Carolina got caught off guard last week by an emotionally revved up Saints team, and they may have been peeking ahead to this matchup with the SB champs. Fox will have them ready to rebound, as they try and show that they should be considered a contender. NE may be looking ahead to a showdown with Pitt next week and doesn't have full attention here in a non-conference road game. Taking Carolina with a real good chance to win outright.

UNDER 44 No @ NY Giants: Aaron Brook and Duece with their new ball control offense speed up the clock and keep this game under the total. NYG aren't that great of an offense as their 42 last week might suggest, TD from SPT and 1 from the DEF, along with a so-so performance from Eli doesn't add up to alot of offense against a good NO defense. Another ugly, low-scoring NFC game, 17-14 final.

2-1 again last week. I guess Minnesota does suxor. They get me every year, at least once. I would think I would have learned by, NO MORE VIKINGS SELECTIONS, EVAH!!! Anybody else have Carolina? Good job MoP, looking forward to week 3...
