Fun fact: When a team is up 3-2 in a 7 games series and they play game 6 at home, their record is 12-13.THIS AIN'T GOIN TO GAME 7!!!
I'm pulling out the Messier here. Lock it up!

Yet you're bringing it up out of nowhere.Im just tired of hearing the disrespect angle/whining when its clearly not true.Ok... even so, what does that have to do with anything?I thought the Phillies have been getting disrespected all series? The split isn't really, why would someone that likes the Yanks pick the 7 over 6 option?I do find it interesting that its only 56% total for the Yanks to win, should be higher than that.Maybe alot of Phils fans out on the innerwebs today.
I know, too funny.
Take all the "not true Yankees" off this team and they don't make the playoffs. A bunch of mercenaries.
Among the remaining 13 games, what is the home team record for game 7?Fun fact: When a team is up 3-2 in a 7 games series and they play game 6 at home, their record is 12-13.THIS AIN'T GOIN TO GAME 7!!!

Good news. Vic is also Mr. Drama so I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing a little with the media here.Vic is playing tonight. Francisco in LF, Ibanez is the DH. Francisco hitting 8th
He should get some leftover halloween fake blood and spinkle in on his batting glove a la the "bloody sock".Good news. Vic is also Mr. Drama so I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing a little with the media here.Vic is playing tonight. Francisco in LF, Ibanez is the DH. Francisco hitting 8th

My post just says how inane your posts are yelling about mercenaries. Who cares.Congratulations. This comment now holds the distinction of having the least to do with the original discussion of any posted in the entire thread (and that says A LOT). PS - I love the way everyone keeps trying to stop the conversation by digging it back up!Lehigh98 said:Can we just stop the whole "mercenary" thing?... its ridiculous, TIA.Exactly, these guys are employees and just like anyone else in this thread they go work for the person who pays them the most. I am jumping from my job as soon as I can find someone who will pay me more and the rest of you would to.

Great.....then the Phils have a 25% chance of winning this thing. Exactly what I expected.........7-6Among the remaining 13 games, what is the home team record for game 7?Fun fact: When a team is up 3-2 in a 7 games series and they play game 6 at home, their record is 12-13.THIS AIN'T GOIN TO GAME 7!!!

I've always thought of Cowboy Joe West as a big jowls guy....and a ####si.com
Huh, I always thought of West as a big zone guy. Probably only when Mariano pitches."I would think what we want to do is drive up his pitch count, make him work," said Yankees outfielder Eric Hinske, which is exactly the battle plan the Yankees deployed against Pedro in his prime. Joe West is the home plate umpire tonight, so a small strike zone with these two teams hitting will mean tougher duty for the pitchers. (Strikeout, walk and slugging rates with West behind the plate all favor the hitter, compared to average rates.)

That's funny.LMAO-pt3 Go Pedro!
He's a no-nonsense ump. I could see him taking offense to all the Yankees whining and stall tactics. May work against them in this one.I've always thought of Cowboy Joe West as a big jowls guy....and a ####si.com

Also no small feat considering how unclutch he isA-Rod career post-season OPS is now higher than his regular-season OPS, no small feat considering that the pitching is inevitably tougher.
That is interesting as I would have expected a little higher win %, but if each game is a 50/50 chance then the yanks have a 75% chance of winning right now. Of course that becomes 50% if the Phillies win tonight.Fun fact: When a team is up 3-2 in a 7 games series and they play game 6 at home, their record is 12-13.THIS AIN'T GOIN TO GAME 7!!!

Marte can light a gas can with the best of them. I know he's squared things up recently, but still...he concerns me.
