What's your go to snack while you're at the office?  I've always been a trail mix guy - but looking to branch out.

Whatcha got?

10am: Apple

3pm: A couple Ghiradelli 86% squares

I tried Lightly Salted Blue Diamond almonds but once I ate the whole bag.  :bag:

Here are my main criteria for a good office snack:

  • Flavor
  • Shelf Life (you don't have to constantly re-stock and can buy in bulk)
  • Minimal mess (you can eat at your desk without having crumbs or spills by your workstation)
  • Healthfulness (you're theoretically eating some of this everyday, so it shouldn't be awful for you)

Hot tea and/or unsalted roasted peanuts.

Oh yeah, I also have a jar of peanut butter in my drawer and will eat a spoonful if I'm particularly hungry.

So, you know Julie from accounting?

Tub of whey protein (some go great mixed with coffee), protein bars, cashews, almonds, fruit (apple/banana)

Oatmeal w/a diced apple, vanilla greek yogurt w/strawberries or blueberries, granola and almonds, cottage cheese w/pineapple, avocado, and cucumber w/hummus.

Every Monday I go to the farmers market to keep this stuff around the office for me to snack on and sometimes just turn into a lunch.

Huge can of gourmet peanuts that a client sends me every Christmas.   Usually lasts until April or May.... then I have to start bringing crap in.

Clif Builder and Kind bars, clementines when in season, apples otherwise, bananas.  Other random fruits including berries, oranges, melon when in season.  Trail mix if its just dried fruit and nuts but not peanuts, otherwise I'll pass potentially fatal gas.

I very rarely eat lunch when in the office so a typical day is 10am Banana, noon Clif Builder bar and clementines (2) or apple, 3pm Kind bar or another piece of fruit.
