What a joke, they've sunk to new lows. Emery should've done that to every lazy ### in his own locker room between periods. He should be suspended for that crap. Color me embarrassed.

I just watched the video. Emery is going to be in some league trouble. I have no problem with goalie fights but emery gooned holtby who had no interest in that fight and emery was belting him when he was down, low class.

As long as Holtby doesn't get into a car with him after the bar, he's fine.

I'm ok with fighting a willing partner if you want to wake your team up, go ahead and knock each other senseless. But what Emery did went above and beyond IMO. I get that he was frustrated by the lifeless team in front of him, but that was uncalled for.

In defense of Downie, he wasn't involved in the line brawl, he got his for sticking up for a teammate who got dumped earlier in the game by Volpatti. He was actually taken to the ER by ambulance after the game for a concussion and possible broken bones in his face.

Had you told me the Caps would be held without a shot for the first 15 minutes of the game and still win 7-0 I would have bet the farm it wouldn't happen.Weird game to say the least.

Emery with a complete classless move going after Holtby who wanted no parts of the fight.

Why did Vinny agree to fight Oleksy?Stupid move even though Vinny is a big boy and then top it off with Volpatti getting in a few good shots on Downie who left with a concussion and the game was a complete disaster for the Flyers,much like their season to date.

They would have been better served to just drop their pants and #### all over the ice.

Started to gain a lot of respect for how Quenville has kept a lot of guys in line. Scott, Eager, Emery have found some trouble after leaving. Carcillo was injured most of time and suspended for boarding a couple times, but his behavior besides that was kept in line.

Obviously league doesn't like what it saw last night but there's just nothing in rulebook for supplemental discipline for that fight
