And Giroux says no thanks to the shootout. ####### beast mode.
:goodposting:
It's fun to watch again. Well maybe not for Hawk64 and Christo. :excited:
Who is #23 for the Hawks? That was just lazy in neutral ice.
 Versteeg. Never been known for his stellar defense.

While Giroux is playing out of his mind, Couturier is quietly becoming one of the best shutdown centermen in the league. And he's 21.

Whether you agree or disagree with the Jeff Carter and Mike Richards trades a couple years back, they netted the Flyers Couturier, Voracek, Brayden Schenn, and Wayne Simmonds. That's not a bad return at all.

It's fun to

I wasn't a Carter fan so I didn't care about that one, but wasn't happy at all about the Richards trade. Adding to it I said we should've gotten Bernier in that deal when it happened, thought that was our chance to get a quality goalie and would've saved us from the Bryz debacle too. It will help when we trade Brayden for a quality dman this summer though. Not a big fan of his.

I like how all these western conference powers can't beat any of the eastern conference teams at home lately.

Anaheim=pretender

Sharks have won 6 in a row, are at home playing Florida, and when I looked right before game time, they were -390.

Right on cue, 3-1 Panthers after 2.

B's at ten straight.

Non-sequitur: As soon as I saw Julien behind Team Canada's bench, I got scared for the U.S. They started talking about it on talk radio, but whatever this system is -- and I admit I don't get it -- it's nuts.

3-2 Florida win. Lu with 52 saves.... 28 of them in the 3rd period.

I turned off the Rangers-Sens last night after the 1st, with the Sens up 2-1 and looking dominant, to watch a show with the wife. Flipped it back on to see it 7-3 NYR. That was one of the more surprising turns I've seen in a while. Rewound to watch what happened and holy crap those were a couple terrible goals given up by Lehner.

My son and I started our NHL stadium tour last night in Long Island.

I am not an Islander hater, my son was rooting for them since his uncle who he went with as well is an Islander fan.

I just think it is so sad what has happened there. The stadium is in a great location for the locals. The place should be packed every night. Sure it is a little outdated but I wish Hempstead would not have blocked what the owner wanted to do with the revitalization. There were so many empty seats and it looked like the team has already packed it in.

Anyway, we had a good time anyway and are planning on going to Devils-Caps in a few weeks. Figure we will hit two a year. My wife is even starting to look at places that my daughter and her can come as well like Niagra Falls (Toronto an hour and half away) and Miami.

around here you're supposed to complain about Julien, even when you're in the finals.

I do complain about him.

Soooo boring.

Sens are making a habit out of choking away leads. They looked horrible giving up a 4-1 lead to Montreal last Saturday. Lehner was flopping around in the crease and putting himself out of position for rebounds.

Kane looks like he hurt his right leg/knee on his last shift. Have to see if he's still on the bench when the commercial break is over.

ETA it's left knee and he's in the locker room. :o :scared:

Hope he's ok. That looked kinda bad.
Injuries to key players happen all the time. That doesn't make it suck less. Let's hope it is a tweak.
Preliminary analysis out 2 weeks.
That would mean he is ready for the playoffs, which is the big issue. The jockey for home ice is secondary.

You're the one making outlandish claims. I was looking to take advantage.
well, I'll be betting on the Wild with great odds once and if that matchup does happen.

will be fading the Ducks almost no matter who they face.
I'll be betting the Wild under 2 goals for the series.
have fun lighting your money on fire.

Parise, Koivu, Pominville, Granlund, Moulson, Coyle. Their top 6 can score now.

Only thing that ever matters is whatever the did in the past.
