****Official 2014 Chicago Bears Thread **** (2 Viewers)

Love it. He took a hometown discount, and now we have our O signed for the next 2 years at least (depends on what we do with Forte when his contract is up and he is 30).

I think you can close the book on Palmer with the Clausen signing. Fales will obviously make the team and Clausen, a former 2nd round pick, has better skills than Palmer.

I never thought much of him anyway.

Got my tickets to the Bears at Seahawks preseason week 3 game. Should be a good measuring stick for us since it is week 3.

Sweetness playing QB.

Pretty cool. I don't remember that at all.
Packer fan here and I remember that game. I remember lots of his games. He would go along every year having very good to great years, and then he would play the Packers twice and have such great results his years became transcendent. Man he was a Packer killer. Still, he played the game the way it should be played, and he remained always classy. I think you will find that he is almost universally respected around Packer Nation.

Offense looked good. DL and CB are deep are good. Lbs still suck. Shea sucks even worse and will be cut. Another wasted first rounder.

The bears will win it all this year. Defense will be much improved and offense will be top three in the league. Perfect combination of youth and veteran leadership coupled with an innovative coach...there's really not a team that can stop them. Seattle will be victims of a Super Bowl hangover, and San Fran, while still good, has some pending questions on their defense. Think the bears will not only win it all, but could easily win at least fourteen games during the regular season.

The place to be this year. Get your money in now.

Clausen looking to wrap up this backup qb job. With Cutler's history we can expect to see him start a couple of games. He looks sharp. I really trust Trestman to have whoever it may be ready to play and play well.

I have little faith in Palmer. Seems like J Quinn 2.0

Dear lord. Terry Shea just had to bring Quinn with him, lol. Pathetic!

Shea is yet another first round bust. This looks like the same team as last year with a positive arrow for the defense. The special teams is going to cost this team games which could cost them a playoff spot. Bad!

I think the signing of Holmes clearly indicates Marquess Wilson is a safe long term play as the Bears #3 (assuming he comes back healthy from the collar bone break).

If they had any faith in anyone currently on the roster they wouldn't have signed Holmes (imho).

Bump-o-la

What are people looking for tonight? Obviously no injuries but I am looking at what the first unit defensive line can do in terms of pressure on the QB and stuffing the run. In addition, can the STs unit play better or will they continue the trend of being a liability? I think the offense will be able to at least get some decent chances but the Seahawks are going to be ready to roll. No one repeats so look for the Seahags to roll out of the gate and into the playoffs but they will be knocked off in the post season. The Bears? Well there are still a lot of question marks.

Well, so far in this game the Bears defense looks just as bad as they were last year, ouch.
