Sanders talent was the same last year and the year before....he wasn't worth a 1st then was he?

However I would also buy him for a 1st if I needed a WR to shore up this year

Weird way of looking at things given how quickly things change in the NFL. For one, maybe his talent is NOT the same. He may very well be more talented than he was given credit for.

In your last three rookie drafts, how many of those guys would you give up a 1st round pick for?? Maybe 1/3 of them if that?

Values change, talent is not always what it appears to be right away. These dudes are 21 ####### years old when they come into the league. Their skillsets and abilities change.

As for SAnders specifically, yes his value is inflated playing with Peyton, but a top 5-10 WR for two years is definitely worth a projected mid future 1st. Because, he does actually LOOK good on the field as well. He isnt exactly lucking into all those plays he is making, and he also just might be pretty decent after Peyton.

Wasn't my point was situation plays a part in the valuation of players.

Maybe Sanders has gotten better in his craft but I am not sure he is more talented. He just is getting more opportunities to show the talent he always had

I played in a baseball keeper league for years where the rule was if you won the league you had to play the next season. If you went all-in to win like Team A here you at least paid into the league the next year.

Late 2nd and 3rd are a cheap price to upgrade from Freeman to Ingram. I don't think much of Freeman though.

Yeah, looking back I probably should have, but I hate trading high picks. Ingram has strung together a few good games and is young, but a mid-to-late 1st is hard for me to part with.
