16 tm start 1/2/3/1 and a flex .5ppr

Gave

West

Got

2015 1st (projects early)

Buying a ticket for the Gurley stakes here
I should actually say I'm adding to two other tickets I've got from trading Gordon in the summer.

West was my RB3 but I worry that Tate will come back week 5 and kill any value he might have until Atleast next summer

Contender gives:

Jordan Cameron

Stedman bailey

2016 2nd

Likely rebuild gives:

Demarco Murray

2016 3rd
TE premium?Seems pretty light for Murray either way but I guess
Just a normal .5 ppr. I go back and forth on it; I hate holding productive rbs at the mid-ages in a rebuild because if an injury hits suddenly you can't get a 2nd for them. I prefer the Murray side as well but can see how it makes sense for both if that's the best offer out there for the Murray owner.Charles owner last year could have gotten probably about Gio and a first or maybe even two; a couple games in and i wouldn't be surprised to have to add to charles to get Gio.

12 team, half PPR, standard ESPN.

Gave: Ertz, Hilton, 1st (have another 1st that will be in top 3), 2nd, 3rd, James White

Got: Jordan Matthews, Murray

My current team:
QB: Luck
WR: Cobbs, Cooks, Cooper, Hilton, Landry, R. Woods, A. Hurns, J. Hunter
RB: Shady, L. Miller, Hyde, K. Davis, B. Brown, J. White
TE: Graham, Ertz

I'm very concerned about my TE depth, but figure I can move Miller (or sell high on Davis) to get another backup TE + picks given how ravenous my league is about any RB that gets carries.

I like your side

1/2/2/2Flex/1/1

Flex = WR/RB/TE

PPR, 4pt passing TD's all others 6, rest rules are standard

Player A gave:

Isaiah Crowell

Player B gave:

John Brown

Having a hard time figuring value on Crowell right now... he looks great, but the situation and his potential bone headedness are flags. Pretty high on Brown as a dynasty prospect; should be the #2 in ARI next year.

Much prefer Crowell here.

I'll take Brown. I have both, and I'd get rid of Crowell before I'd get rid of Brown.

10 team .5 PPR Q Q R R R W W W T T

I traded: Harvin, Lamar Miller, 2015 1st (championship contender), 2015 2nd (top4)

Got: 2015 1st (early-mid), 2015 4th (early-mid), 2016 3rd (who knows right)

Team context:

Cutler, Manuel, A. Smith

Michael Floyd, Evans, Matthews, Quick, OBJ, Shorts, Bowe, Janis

L. Bell, Hyde, Ridley, C. Michael, Pierce/Taliaferro, Turbin, Anderson, Storm, Mason

Clay, Ladarius Green, Escobar

Buying for 2 top5 draft picks. I definitely overpayed, but I view it as a year away from competing with either Gurley/Gordon and a QB in 2015, and I'm not a big Harvin/Miller fan. I have the depth (I think) so hopefully it all works out.

It's an overpay, even in a start 2x QB league, but I respect the stones. If it ends up being a worthy top QB, it could work out for you. If it ends up being more mid than early, it'll sting.

Wow alot needs to go right for that pick to be worth more than Harvin let alone the picks and Miller...if those were his picks you just gave him a WR1/2 and RB2/3 which likely help make that pick worse

In a start 2 QB, 0.5 PPR, 10 team league--I don't think Harvin is worth a mid-first, personally. 2 top QBs, 2 top RBs, top WR -- I like the odds of those 5 being worth more than Harvin, at least. The top QB(s) by a healthy margin.

ETA: Pondering the format--it hurts Harvin more than I initially calculated, I think. In my opinion, the late 1st is the biggest part of the outgoing package. The baselines--QB20, RB30, WR30, TE20--make it hard for WRs to rack up VBD, especially those who aren't steady double digit TD guys. Harvin is less valuable than guys like Hill, Hyde, Eifert, Ebron--for my money.

...and for me in my 12 team I would have traded Harvin for only Watkins (1.01). In a 10 team there are more than enough Qb's to get adequate production without burning high draft picks.

Harvin should easily fit in the top 15-20WR's in most PPR leagues.

If that pick is really early Gurley/Gordon will be the most valuable players by a long way for me

I edited my above post, but to echo: In this format, I feel confident suggesting that Harvin isn't worth a first round pick. It's really hard on WR value, especially those who aren't a threat for double digit TDs on yearly basis.
