So with 7:25 remaining, South Carolina scored a TD to go up 19-7. The OBC elected to kick the extra point. 20-7.
They lose 21-20.

Lotta bad defense going around this year.UMass quarterback Blake Frohnapfel threw for 589 yards today (and 5 TDs) ... which is a top-20 total all time in FBS history.
The only problem: UMass gave up 668 yards of offense to Bowling Green in a 47-42 loss.
Sucks to be 0-5 when this team could have 2-3 wins with just a couple of defensive stops.![]()
Actually no one cares about Michigan. Which is pretty ####### awesome.God. Michigan has been such a joke since Carr left. Sad seeing Michigan suck like they have this year.
Sorry but I've seen better Purdue games than this one. And I have 3U on this crap. The Trojans are really hammering away at the Beavers.
I was just shoehorning in my annual joke.Sorry but I've seen better Purdue games than this one. And I have 3U on this crap. The Trojans are really hammering away at the Beavers.

I'm not aware of that joke
It continues to stun me how some coaches can't grasp simple arithmetic. I get that in college ball, missed extra points happen way more frequently than they do in the pros, but still, you have to have the sense to go for 2 there, with that little time left.So with 7:25 remaining, South Carolina scored a TD to go up 19-7. Didn't we kind of go through this last year? Then FSU beat Auburn and everyone said "FSU is basically an SEC team."I will like to see if the selection committee takes SOS into account. Auburn's remaining opponent's are all ranked in the top 15 including 3 currently ranked in the Top 10 except for Samford. Alabama has 5 opponents ranked in the Top 20 and 3 in the Top 10. If they are both undefeated come Iron Bowl. How can the selection committee not take them both over an undefeated FSU whose only opponent in the Top 25 is Notre Dame. SOS has and conference strength should weigh heavily. Top 4 at moment should be Oregon Oklahoma Alabama and either A&M/Auburn. No way FSU deserves to be in top 4 given there schedule and how they have played.
ND might be out as well playing Stanford17 undefeated teams left and 5 of them are in the SEC West. We are sure to have at least 4 less unbeaten teams next week as Bama/Ole Miss, Miss St/Texas AM, OU/TCU and Arz/Oregon all play.

By seasons end, ND might not look like near the quality win you think it will. They could easily lose 4 games, maybe 5.I will like to see if the selection committee takes SOS into account. FSU has played 2 games against top-30 teams and one against NCSU who will probably end up top-45. They've only had one cupcake. Wtf are you talking about.
For NC SOS they'll have ND, an upper-tier Big 12 team and UF. They'll be fine.
Same could be said for Auburn or any team that has to play a bunch of ranked teams.By seasons end, ND might not look like near the quality win you think it will. True, but we weren't talking about Auburn. Auburn plays 8 more games this season and only 1 of those games is vs a team outside of the current top 17. Unreal. Of course many of those teams are simply the SEC West so there will be canibilzation.Same could be said for Auburn or any team that has to play a bunch of ranked teams.By seasons end, ND might not look like near the quality win you think it will. He's awesome - reminds me a bit of Cam Newton. Not quite as mobile, but better touch. He's incredibly accurate and poised right now. Watching the game, it looked like Morris still has the training wheels on, so I'm pumped to see things when they let him loose a little more.Deshaun Watson with 400+ yards and 6 passing TDs for Clemson. Clemson fans should be excited about this kid...

Om couldn't protect Bo against Memphis last night. O/U on Bo's sack+int+fumble total should be about 11.5.This time next we'll know a lot more.
Ole Miss/Bama - pass D is Bama's weakness, and Wallace is talented enough to win...but he's not playing well enough to date, and the youth in the secondary for Bama is getting better by the week. OM needs a career game from Bo to stay close, or Bama wins comfortably and cements itself as the CFP favorite.
I didn't realize Miles was 61...take him off the Michigan list.
If you schedule Texas as your homecoming game, you deserve whatever you get. :flex:Charlie Weis axed again.

Next week at Mich. St. and Nov. 15th at Wisconsin are going to be huge for that. If he puts up numbers in both of those games he'll be right up there. The Ameer, Gordon head to head game should generate a ton of Heisman discussion for both of them.mcintyre1 said:Also, can we please start seeing Ameer mentioned for the Heisman? I've seen him creep from #5 in the "top 5" to #4, but people still really only ever talk about the "top 3" at best.
He's leading the nation in rushing yards and all purpose yards by a wide margin. That's with being taken out shortly after the half twice (he had 198 yards and 3 TDs at the half this week) and when every team Nebraska plays knows that Ameer is the key to our whole offensive success. Ameer and his backup both finished with 22 carries against Illinois but Ameer almost doubled Imani Cross's yardage totals (a very respectable 22-109). And he's just such a good guy.

Of course they will look at strength of schedule. I don't see the point in discussing such a specific scenario this early in the season.uconnalum said:I will like to see if the selection committee takes SOS into account. I'd be all over Arizona if I were y'all. Holy cow that's way too many points. I'm sweating a "W" much less 3+ TDs. And I'd think more points for Oklahoma, no?Oregon -22.5 v Arizona (opened at -25.5)
Auburn -8.5 v LSU
Stanford -1 @ ND (opened at ND -1)
Florida -1 @ Tennessee
USC -11 v Arizona St (opened at -7.5)
Baylor -12 @ Texas
Oklahoma -6 @ TCU
Alabama -6 @ Ole Miss (opened at -4)

Surprised at ND being a dog and the Alabama line being that low.
I've been a generally patient fan. I've given Hoke the benefit of the doubt. What happened Saturday is inexcusable and exactly what Brandon needed to happen. Now, he'll just dump Hoke and save his own sorry ### to continue the destruction of the Michigan brand.“The safety of our student-athletes is always our top priority. We generally never discuss the specifics of a student-athlete's medical care, but Shane Morris was removed from yesterday's game against Minnesota after further aggravating an injury to his leg that he sustained earlier in the contest. He was evaluated by our experienced athletic trainers and team physicians, and we're confident proper medical decisions were made.
The University of Michigan has a distinguished group of Certified Athletic Trainers and team physicians who are responsible for determining whether or not a player is physically able to play. Our coaches have no influence or authority to make determinations if or when an injured player returns to competition. The health and welfare of our student-athletes is and will continue to be a top priority.”
