Crazy season
Yup, that's why 8 is the sweet spot.If it was a 16 team playoff this game would have been 10% as exciting. That's math. This playoff format is killing the regular season drama.
None of these games even matter anymore.... Not even sure why we bother watching. This playoff format is killing the regular season drama.
"Girls Of The WAC" was always a big seller. Why would USC be an attractive place to play and not Fresno State?
Jimbo is a politicianA couple things -
This ND team looks good. Very unlike some of the fraudulent, high-win ND squads in recent years.
Jimbo is an ###. Stating his program does it the right way and is classy. Just say they worked hard, 60 minutes, etc.

Yeah, there's no way MSU will be in front of ND if both end of with a lossThat game really hurt a team like Michigan State.
Now ND is going to be ranked above them in the 1-loss team pecking order. They needed a ND win or an FSU blowout.
2%Serious question: what are the chances fsu ends up in vacating style trouble?
For what exactly?Serious question: what are the chances fsu ends up in vacating style trouble?
FSU better not sleep on Louisville next week.Playoff teams:
1. FSU
2. TBD
3. TBD
4. TBD
That's what I'm asking. Winston has had a number of run ins. Any chance any of them impact the team in hindsight (last year or this year)? For what exactly?Serious question: what are the chances fsu ends up in vacating style trouble?

Baylor and tcu are trash. Big 12 is fraud city.In no particular order, I would take these teams at 1 loss over ND:
FSU
Oregon
Auburn
Alabama
Ole Miss
Miss St.
Baylor
Georgia
TCU
That is assuming a ton but ND is going to finish without a signature win. @ASU is their best chance, that is a top 15 team at best.
Best part is they didn't just lose, they got boat raced by a fairly sloppy Missouri squad.lol, teams are 147-2 in the last ten years when holding an opponent to 120 yards offense of less.
Both losses belong to Florida.![]()

How many TCU games have you seen this year? Zero or zero?Baylor and tcu are trash. Big 12 is fraud city.In no particular order, I would take these teams at 1 loss over ND:

Yeah, KSU mailed it in against Auburn.Baylor and tcu are trash. Big 12 is fraud city.In no particular order, I would take these teams at 1 loss over ND:

If they win out, they'll have wins over Stanford, ASU, and USC.In no particular order, I would take these teams at 1 loss over ND:

Who cares if she's satisfied?"Wanna join the Mile High club?"
Hopefully she's talking about a burger. No way I could satisfy her.

Oh that reminds me, put KSU in there as well.Sorry I just think you have to beat somebody to get in the playoff. ND just lost it's only chance at a very good win. It is also why any team from the Big Ten shouldnt even tune in for the selection show.Baylor and tcu are trash. Big 12 is fraud city.In no particular order, I would take these teams at 1 loss over ND:

TCU & Baylor have already playedIf they win out, they'll have wins over Stanford, ASU, and USC.In no particular order, I would take these teams at 1 loss over ND:

And, of course, there are tons of losses in that list you just gave (AUB/ALA, GA, TCU/Baylor, etc).
I'd make a wager that a 1 loss ND team gets in ahead of any 1 loss team that isn't from the SEC and that isn't named Oregon considering that there one loss was by 4 points to FSU on the road with a questionable finish. In no particular order, I would take these teams at 1 loss over ND:
FSU
Oregon
Auburn
Alabama
Ole Miss
Miss St.

Not really, not at all.Big 12 definitely on the outside looking in now.
If Baylor, KSU or TCU win out, they should be Top 4.Not really, not at all.Big 12 definitely on the outside looking in now.
Tend to agree. I'm a big Fab Five fan. Post hoc doesn't change much to me. Was just askingNot based on anything presently out there. Also I don't get the obsession on 'vacating wins'. Am I supposed to forget tonight and last January happened if so? FSU is the 2013 champs, I could give a #### what the NCAA ever has to say. That's what I'm asking. Winston has had a number of run ins. Any chance any of them impact the team in hindsight (last year or this year)? For what exactly?Serious question: what are the chances fsu ends up in vacating style trouble?
The conference champ has to beat out ND...Not really, not at all.Big 12 definitely on the outside looking in now.
What was questionable about it? If you are referring to the TWO ND players committing blatant picks then I am not sure what to tell you. Hell, Lou Holtz said it was the correct call.Big XII is much deeper than people want to admit. ND will boast wins against ASU, USC, and Stanford. That isn't a better resume than any of the teams from the Big XII would have assuming they end with 1 loss.I'd make a wager that a 1 loss ND team gets in ahead of any 1 loss team that isn't from the SEC or that isn't named Oregon considering that there one loss was by 4 points to FSU on the road with a questionable finish. In no particular order, I would take these teams at 1 loss over ND:

What hurts Michigan State is not being anywhere near national title caliber. They could maybe sneak into the playoff by winning a bad Big Ten, but it's not like they're gonna beat an SEC West team and FSU back-to-back.That game really hurt a team like Michigan State.
Now ND is going to be ranked above them in the 1-loss team pecking order. They needed a ND win or an FSU blowout.
Big 12 is going to have six ranked teams this week, if any team only loses one game they are a LOCK IMO. I think if TCU wins in Morgantown, they'll go 11-1.If Baylor, KSU or TCU win out, they should be Top 4.Not really, not at all.Big 12 definitely on the outside looking in now.
And conference champion is a factor to be considered by the committee. Something ND will not have on its resume. The conference champ has to beat out ND...Not really, not at all.Big 12 definitely on the outside looking in now.

Three. Garbage 90s WAC football on steroids in the big 12. How do I take tcu seriously after last week? How many TCU games have you seen this year? Zero or zero?Baylor and tcu are trash. Big 12 is fraud city.In no particular order, I would take these teams at 1 loss over ND:

Lots of football to be played, making this declaration this early is fool's gold IMO.The conference champ has to beat out ND...Not really, not at all.Big 12 definitely on the outside looking in now.
Its questionable b/c at that time of the game, that's a 50/50 call; that type of call doesn't get called every time in the middle of the game let alone at the 2nd to last play. The committee is going to be looking at ND and saying that they were that one call from being undefeated. What was questionable about it? If you are referring to the TWO ND players committing blatant picks then I am not sure what to tell you. Hell, Lou Holtz said it was the correct call.Big XII is much deeper than people want to admit. Will ND get in with 1 loss? Idk maybe, hell probably but they have done nothing to this point to deserve a high ranking. So help me if anyone says almost beating FSU is an accomplishment, losing is never a good thing. We aren't in pee wee anymore.
