Headed to the Rose Bowl today for Nebraska/UCLA. Taking my daughters for the first time ever There will be a fireworks display after the game, so that should be fun. I hope UCLA can put up a challenge; I always fear the worst. But one way or another, I am looking forward to a great day.

UCF - Ohio State (UCF is pretty good)

Florida - A&M

Purdue - Notre Dame (Is ND actually good?)

Wisconsin - Oregon State

South Florida - Nevada (Could be a sneaky good game)

Nebraska - UCLA

Georgia - Missouri

Illinois - Arizona State (Last game of the day on TV here at least)

Who cares about an artificial number in front of the teams' names? I'm really looking forward to several games, two of which are the SEC match-ups with the newbies: UF v A&M and UGA v Mizzou. I hope the old guard kicks the snot out of the traitors!

These are both good games. UCF-OSU could be a froggy matchup as well.

Tough week for the PAC. Nevada over Cal, CSU over CU, and Utah St over Utah.Although I wouldn't be surprised to see UCLA beat Nebraska.

Any school starting Zach Maynard at QB is doomed to failure. I'm mystified that they can't find someone better than he is.

By the way, I am loving my Macbook Pro and Xfinity right now. I am streaming ESPN and ESPN2 right now with ease. I will soon find out if I can do a 3rd. A swipe with my fingers switches me from game to game and can also let me see each window streaming as thumbnails.

Chizik isn't 1/10 the coach Tubberville is. It will be interesting to see how much worse Auburn allows their program to get under this guy. Right now, they're sticking with the 'young and rebuilding' mantra...and pointing to recruiting rankings.

Yea..but they are cumulative top 5-7 in recruiting over the last 3 years. But Chizik can't run a program...and he's losing these great recruits left and right, or he's not developing them. And even Auburn fans are starting to admit that it appears Chizik recruits for stars...not needs.Foster made his bed though unfortunately....he's going to lie in it.
