Oregon at Washington State on ESPN2. Don't blink. What's the west coast game?
Alright, the Mad Pirate! That should have about 140-150 points.Oregon at Washington State on ESPN2. Don't blink. What's the west coast game?
The Huskies don't play at their on-campus stadium anymore?Do all teams in the state of Washington play their games at the Seahawks stadium?
Please go back to your old avatar. My world doesn't make sense anymore. TIA.Alright, the Mad Pirate! That should have about 140-150 points.Oregon at Washington State on ESPN2. Don't blink. What's the west coast game?
Apparently they are renovating their stadium. Fair enough. Now the Cougars are there tonight. The Huskies don't play at their on-campus stadium anymore?Do all teams in the state of Washington play their games at the Seahawks stadium?
The defense is pretty good, it is the offensive line that is struggling right now. That and stupid penalties which has given WSU 9 points. 137 yards given up in the first half. Don't get me wrong Oregon does not look like the number 2 team in the nation in the first half, but I fully expect them to win by at least three touchdowns. Ugly, ugly, game.Who was trying to tell us that Oregon's defense was "pretty damn good?" Stand up and defend your statement!
If we get 42 in the second half, there are gonna be a lot of really happy FBGers.Only 42 points at the half. Disappointing.

Actually, expedite bookshelves. Oh another scoreHow about you stop worrying about me and start assembling that Hemnes bed?

Depends on where it is. I went to the LSU GameDay in 2003 when we won the 'Ship and there must have been 10,000 people there.'bentley said:Would be upset that Game Day wasn't coming to Austin for Texas/WVU if I hadn't been to a live Game Day taping before. Such an overrated experience.
I like Georgia a bit more as well at this point. LSU just keeps making mistakes. It's to the point that it's become a trend with them. It's kind of funny saying this now because Georgia just played a game in which they kind of did the same thing. I think Georgia, more than any other team in the country, has closed the talent gap between Bama/LSU and everyone else. LSU could begin to put things together and be unbeatable. They just haven't shown that growth thus far in the season.LSU should beat UF comfortably but I'm sure they won't. Florida is good enough that if LSU continues to make the mistakes they have the past few weeks they will beat LSU.I think Georgia looks better than LSU right now. I would move them up in the top 3. That offense is stout.
Personally, I think LSU can run the ball on any team in the country minus perhaps Bama. It's the QB play, silly penalties and silly TOs that have killed them. They have a great Oline and at least 3 RBs who can get it done though.I don't know if I agree with that last comment. How does LSU plan to move the ball against Florida's defense?
Run on them. But the problem is, the opponents stack the box. Townson was putting 9 guys in the box and Mett still was sucking. Also, JP Copeland hurt his knee late in the game last night. They wrapped it in ice. I HOPE he is ok. He is a 290 LB fullback that blows up LBs in the hole. He is key to the running game.If Mett can get some protection, LSU has good WRs. If the protection breaks down, it will be a long night for LSU...and Mett. This is the game that Mett needs to put his big boy pants on and lead LSU to a solid victory.I don't know if I agree with that last comment. How does LSU plan to move the ball against Florida's defense?
Yeah, Mett looks bad...not Jefferson bad, but still bad. I thought they would be able to open it up and take advantage of their speed on the outside. All they seem to do is dink and dunk w/ little 5 yard outs and hard slants. I'm at a loss. They definitely have a stable of running backs that should give them 200 ground yards a game and soften up the coverage. Defensively, they didn't really dominate like I expected last night. Towsand was actually competitive. Two very ugly wins in a row...very ugly. I'm hoping they just played down to their opponent.Run on them. But the problem is, the opponents stack the box. I've been there a couple time for Texas/OU at the State Fair and it was still boring as hell.As y'all know, I'm a tailgater. And I usually spend 90 minutes every Saturday fighting with the satellite dish in some way or form. Thanks to the greatness of the Dish Tailgater, I'm going to have an extra 1.5 hours for game "preparation" this Saturday. Can't wait.Depends on where it is. It's funny...I find the people that are most down on Bama are Bama fans. Half of the college world thinks Bama is a juggernaut.I just don't buy it. This team hasn't shown me a whole lot yet nor have they proven anything. I think a Nick Saban defense will always be good and Mccarron is obviously very solid. But I could see a scenario where a Georgia drops 35 on Bama out of nowhere. Or A&M.Just so many players left and I don't think the current team has an identity yet. Part of the problem is that we've only played one decent team in Michigan. Arkansas sucks and the rest of our schedule has been a joke.I still think a repeat is possible though, if only because there doesn't seem to be a dominant team out there right now and Bama has enough talent to establish an identity and become a special team. But for now they have only beaten Michigan and a bunch of scrubs.'gump said:Alabama looked mediocre. Ole Miss was just as physical. I'm sure part of that was to control the OM no-huddle, but I don't think the OL has gelled yet with the Jones move to center, and Lacy was sluggish. The offense is going to need to improve. One positive was the emergence of Amari Cooper...looks like the real deal.
This is why I value gump's perspective. He's probably the most level headed Bama fan I've run across. There may be those feigning the "they are unstoppable" tripe and there are certainly those in the fan base that are down playing how good they are (which I really don't understand). They aren't as good as last year's team, but they will improve over the course of the year. I think the are suseptiable to a team that has an O-Line that can give their accurate QB a little time. If that same team happens to have corners that can cover one on one that'd be the team that would beat Alabama. It's funny...I find the people that are most down on Bama are Bama fans. The point is that LSU has the talent and personal to be able to run the ball on anyone in the country. They just aren't committing to it enough right now. So, if LSU plans on moving the ball vs UF as Priemer asked. They should plan to do so by running it. I don't think there is anyone in the country who the personal to stop LSU from running if they are clicking. Sometimes the Jimmy's and the Joe's are outshown by the X's and O's. It's wonderful to have all the talent in the world, but if you can't execute, what does it matter? I don't think there's a single person who questions LSU's talent levels, but they aren't executing. I can sit here and say Denard Robinson can put up 400 all purpose yards up against anyone on any given day, but that comment rings hollow if he doesn't.17th in yards per game, 18th in yards per attempt and 8th in TDs.That really wasn't the point though and you know it. OU was idle--whew!Could I get the cliff notes on this weekend sans Baylor/West Va, Georgia/Tennessee, and Ohio St/Sparty? Watched all of them, but ended up out of touch the rest of Saturday and really with other games Saturday too. Blinded by Geno and my attention span wasn't there with Michigan (and Notre Dame - the wife's team) being idle.

If they can't do it against Townsen and Aurburn, I don't see how you can expect them to get it done so well against UF and SC.17th in yards per game, 18th in yards per attempt and 8th in TDs.That really wasn't the point though and you know it. Anyone in particular look especially concerning? Twitter was unexpectedly quiet this weekend, so I wasn't able to get much from there either. Maybe this was just this year's transition week as the legit teams have already emerged and the frauds have already been exposed. Really trying to get a head start on my NFL scouting list as we get into the meat of schedules, just haven't seen many surprises pop up (Tennessee's Patterson and Stanford's Taylor are the only ones I can immediately think of) and usually by now there are several so I just feel like I'm missing something. The teams that should have won did, but some of them didn't look the best doing so??Could I get the cliff notes on this weekend sans Baylor/West Va, Georgia/Tennessee, and Ohio St/Sparty? Not sure you're missing much at all. If I'm being honest, these games so far have been more about people sliding in the draft than climbing the ladder. It's hard to judge these teams when their opponents are so off their level of competition they'll face in conference.Anyone in particular look especially concerning? True, only really have an opportunity to go down when the competition is lackluster, just weren't many matchups this week that impact the draft I guess. May have caused my interest to cool too.Not sure you're missing much at all. If I'm being honest, these games so far have been more about people sliding in the draft than climbing the ladder. Completely forgot about UGA-USCe....could be the biggest game. Some great matchups this weekend. This is when it really starts to get good. Looking forward to LSU/Florida and WVU/UT the most.
