Da U = Da-ominated and da-feated. That was an old fashioned Irish butt whipping. 41-3 and it wasn't even that close. 376 yards rushing (7.4 ypc).Zero touchdowns allowed in 12 quarters. Zero hundred yard rushers. Hell Notre Dame's second stringers just whipped Miami the whole 4th quarter too. Hilarious.
Is Notre Dame actually good again?

Way better than they've been the last decade. Their front seven is a top 5 unit in CFB IMO.

God I'm so tired of being disappointed by this program. Hardly seems worth it.
As a Mizzou fan, I know the feeling (albeit to a different degree).
Thank God my wife talked me out of the 5 hour drive and tickets to today's game. I knew I didn't want to watch the demolition by Bama next week. So much for 7-5. Now it will be a chore to get bowl eligible. Vandy at home? REALLY?????

@TomahawkNation: Fans will put up with a whole lot of losses in coin flip games. They won't tolerate losses as double-digit favorites. Fisher now has FIVE

That's amazing.

K-State drops 2 spots after waxing Kansas? I don't think UF will jump ND. Not trailing all season is pretty impressive. On the other hand I think they will jump WVU. It's obvious that team has no defense.

If the Everett Golson we saw today is who he'll be the rest of the year, they probably are. The defense has been the surprise story of the year. 39 points given up in 5 games? Unheard of at Notre Dame in a LONG time. The defense will always keep them in games this year. If they can score 20+ in all of the remaining games, they have a good shot. This team has no excuse to finish worse than 10-2 as the only remaining schools that should test this team are Stanford, Oklahoma, and USC.

FSU will never be "back". The old days are the old days. What we are now is a really mediocre program.
I understand your frustration, but I don't see why FSU can't come "back". It's just not going to happen from a guy named "Jimbo".
Number of reasons...one that I like to point to is Miami's move to the ACC. That move by the ACC (1) literally created USF overnight and (2) the stay-close-to-home-schedule of the ACC recruiting pitch that FSU has to compete with with only Florida could now also be pitched by Miami; Miami used to pitch Big East NE exposure, etc. Further moves by the ACC to expand are encouraging the emergence of UCF which will only make matters worse.

No love for Miss State? They are pretty good this year.

You guys are ranking Notre Dame too high. They've played some good teams, but no great teams yet. I predict both Stanford and USC beat them.

It's nauseating. Berkstresser looked like he was throwing to imaginary receivers at times. I have no clue who he was throwing to on the last pass. But Pinkel and Co. couldn't do better in recruiting than what they have now on the offensive line? That o-line is total swiss cheese. It's not like Missouri rose up from Sisters of the Poor levels in the last couple years, and yet, Pinkel can't get centers who know how to snap the ####### ball? He can't get linemen that can block their man for more than a second? WTF?I could go into another rant about his goofy spread offense and how completely out of place it looks in the SEC, but I'm good for now.

Stanford?? What makes you think Stanford will beat them? ND has a good defense. They will beat Stanford. ND will probably go 10-2 or 11-1 depending on if they beat USC.

@NarthurD: Words can't explain Morgantown last night. I witnessed a man in a Spider Man costume ask a police officer what he could do to help.

:lmao:

College football is so amazing.
