Laughed at for mocking the Big 10 last week, so I shall double down:

Clemson over Ohio State

Stanford over Michigan State

South Carolina over Wisconsin (question this one a little)

Minnesota over Syracuse

Michigan over Kansas State

LSU over Iowa

Georgia over Nebraska

Big 10 will finish 2-5 at best 3-4
Not why you were being laughed at.
Go reread the pages... Exactly why I was initially mocked, but personally I don't give a ####

You were mocked because you were a dumb ###.

Michigan State is a legitimate team, but because they're in the Big 10 you saw #### show. Confirmation bias, it's a fickle beast.

I'm not sure how this is possible:

#10 Oregon (10-2): Alamo Bowl Dec 30th

#14 ASU (10-3): Holiday Bowl Dec 30th

#17 UCLA (9-3): Sun Bowl Dec 31st

#25 USC (9-4): Las Vegas Bowl Dec 21st

Washington (8-4): Fight Hunger Bowl Dec 27th

How the heck is Larry Scott letting this happen? He seems to get it everywhere else when it comes to running a conference. I can't believe this is their schedule. When the playoff comes around, that doesn't affect the lower bowls does it? How does he go about improving their bowl bids going forward?
Outside of Arizona/SD/LA, what destination west of the Rockies is even remotely attractive for a bowl game? Someone mentioned SF, but how's the weather this time of year?
Same as it usually is.

Seattle would be a great destination too. Awesome city. They got rid of the dome though.

Denver wouldn't work for a bowl either given their current setup, but, again, awesome city. Need a dome to host a bowl though.

That said, I hope this year's Super Bowl is a big success, so it opens up the window to more cold weather bowls. Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco are all fantastic destinations. I'd go there 3 and 5+ times before I'd ever go to Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, Tampa, etc. again.
Denver would be snowy, but Seattle? I was there in February about 20 years ago and it snowed and was somewhat cold. Am I missing something?

Below is their resume... There is not a lot that jumps out here as super impressive - Not a single "wow" win except OSU (which I was being mocked before they even beat them) & we'll see what they're all about shortly.

I just went through every bowl game for gambling purposes predicting sides and totals for each of the games. Haven't got into the totals yet since that is about a three hour job, but I did do all the sides. Based on that here are my most evenly matched games, and the most lopsided games.

Evenly Matched

Minnesota and Syracuse

Oregon State and Boise State

Georgia Tech and Ole Miss

MSU and Stanford

Clemson and Ohio St

Lopsided:

Oregon over Texas

Arizona over BC

ECU over Ohio

Notre Dame over Rutgers

Worst three bowl teams graded out: Arkansas State, Tulane and Ohio

Bowl games with worst combined graded out teams:

ULL v Tulane New Orleans Bowl

Ball State v Arkansas State Go Daddy Bowl

North Texas v UNLV Heart of Dallas Bowl

Aren't Dec/Jan conditions usually in the 40's and rain neighborhood? Not the type of weather that appeals to many vacationer's. Football people are wired a bit differently though, which is why I'm hopeful the Super Bowl works. Some awesome cities in the north that are forgotten during winter in favor of mediocre southern cities because the weather is nice. Blegh.

What a night here in Indy last night. Had a blast.

B1G TEN CHAMPIONS !!!

What a year. Thanks Mark and the Spartan football team from Spartan Nation!!
Did you make it home before the overturned car and furniture fires died in the streets of East Lansing? Wouldn't want to miss a good Sparty riot, would you?
Your jealousy is showing...
I think this is what he's talking about I thought only the hillbillies at WVU did this stuff.

:goodposting: Thank you, a lot of what I already suspected but I don't know much about Conf USA and Sun Belt, so this is a big help. A little surprised Minnesota and Syracuse came out that evenly, but that's about it. Notre Dame's got some of the 'will they show up risk' playing in Rutgers backyard, but, Rutgers is awful. Ohio U white flagged the season in October, so East Carolina has to be a lock. If Arkansas State is that bad I really like Ball State's chances, easily the 3rd best team in the MAC and led by a very good QB.

Coin flipping Oregon St/Boise, Miss/Ga Tech, ULL/Tulane, and North Texas/UNLV - bottom 4 confidence picks too.

Here comes my favorite part of college football.

Mash this link, RIGHT NOW
Both sides have said that doesn't have any significance...and Sabans presence is confirmed elsewhere.

I think the meaningful flight tracking days are probably over...university planes are now restricted...schools have caught on.

Someone will need to determine how chip their coach.

Is Bo Pelini going to keep his job? My wife's cousins are huge Big Red fans, and they're grumbling.
Yes. Unless the AD has not been truthful up to this point. The fan base is split on this. I'm OK with it especially with the list of other teams looking for coaches this year. I would have been a bad year for Nebraska to be in the market.

ETA: Changes need to be made in the OC and for sure the DC spots. I don't know that Bo has ever won a marginally big game. He does get somewhat of a pass this year with all the injuries on offense and having a very young defense.

Any thoughts on how SC will match up against the Badgers? Seems like they have only lost close games (similar to SC) and have a strong rushing game. Can't say I have caught any of their games this year.
Borland vs. Mike Davis is going to be a) a lot of fun and b) a 3 hour trial to show that Borland is capable of playing MIKE at the next level. I think he can do it and will be successful. If South Carolina wins going away I need to be wrong about this.

Expect the Badgers to run right at Clowney, probably more with White than Gordon. I hope they adjust their use of Gordon though. The speed stuff outside works in the Big 10, but won't work nearly as well vs. South Carolina. They'll need to find other ways to get him in space, but he is effective between the tackles too, so they have options. I don't think South Carolina will run all over them, so they'll be able to use Abbrederis as they want to instead of being forced to all the time. Abbrederis is successful regardless, but he isn't as effective (who is?) when he is being targeted every other play.

Unless South Carolina shuts down the Wisconsin run game, or Wisconsin shoots themselves in the foot over and over again like they did in Columbus, I think the Badgers win.
I would certainly say the Gamecocks are much better at stopping the pass than the run, so that is a concern. Linebackers have come a long way though, a lot of youth.

The real danger from the South Carolina offense is the dual threat of Connor Shaw. Clemson gameplanned around stopping Mike Davis and was able to limit him greatly. However, Connor still ran for almost a hundred yards and threw very well. Will Borland be able to contend with both or do you think the rest of the defense is strong enough to?

Ok, I'll stick around for one more, ebcause I like this game

Auburn lost to LSU who lost to Ole Miss who lost to Mississippi State who lost to Oklahoma State who lost to West Virginia who got shut out by Maryland so the Terps should rematch the Noles for the title. Total bull#### they're not.

I see we have degenerated into the SEC SEC SEC SEC portion of today's thread. See you all later!
FSU is the best team in the country, by a decent margin nonetheless - Find me where I was touting the SEC as anything superb this year.

Just saying the Big 10 is prob the 4th best conference this year...

Couldn't tell you, I don't evaluate conference to conference, I evaluate team to team. Keep eating what the media feeds you though.

Ok, I'll stick around for one more, ebcause I like this game

No problem.

Such haters, I'll be back when the Big 10 loses more than half of their bowl games.
I wish this was true.
Possibly the worst poster here... Find me one funny comment you've ever laid down? Any solid analysis? You bring one liners equivalent to "good job" & "way to go" & a lot of pictures like this  :goodposting: ;  :yucky:   :lmao:

Awesome avatar BTW!
LHUCKS doesn't like my posting? I'll take that one as a compliment.

Huge Borland fan, so you're going to get a bias answer. I think he's capable, but it wouldn't surprise me if his assignment is a) Davis 2) Davis and d) if it's obvious Davis does not have the ball go get Shaw. Badgers weakness is vs. the pass, which is South Carolina's weakness on offense, so I think Shaw will need to make more plays through the air than usual to win.

Bias is fine, just looking for your thoughts.

I have seen a lot of progress from some of the younger WRs like Shaq Roland this year. Sounds like we're going to need a big game out of him.

If this guy is LHUCKS he is going to a lot of trouble trying to hide his prior syntax and tone.
Sarnoff got me off on a rant one day - I was having a very bad morning - He went :fishing: and got the better of me that day, that was my bad... Some lazy poster said "hey it's LHUCKS" afterwards - then a group of 4 or 5 lazy and somewhat stupid posters jumped on board... I'm guessing while staring at their computers the circus music in their heads stopped for a second, a thought was formed, and they jumped on board. That is how the legend was born.

More people decided to jump all over me the other night bc I said the Big 10 is terrible, which we will find out I am correct over the next month. I'm sure they'll chalk that up to biased refereeing or whatever else they can throw out there.

If someone wants to read my posts and dislike me, that is their business and honestly I find it hard to care less about anything than that.

This was you, right? I tried to get your attention but I was having a hard enough time taing the pic.
Nailed it. WTF does it say? I was pretty #### hammered when I painted it.
Sorry for the ####ty pic, I took it with my camera phone while driving. It says: "34-28 HEY BAMA KICK AH FIELD GOAL"

I was :lmao: :lmao: when I saw this guy. I was all set to follow him to wherever he was going until I got a picture. Thankfully, shortly after I spotted him we got to a red light. The car next to me was  as I'm taking the picture.

Looks like "KICK AN FIELD GOAL", which I'm sure is perfectly fine in Alabama. Nice work.
That's what I thought it said at first but when I pulled closer it looked just like "AH" - now the owner/operator may have meant "AN" but was so drunk his "N" looked like a "H". The best part was I'm pretty sure they used something like electrical tape to do it.
