Laughed at for mocking the Big 10 last week, so I shall double down:

Clemson over Ohio State

Stanford over Michigan State

South Carolina over Wisconsin (question this one a little)

Minnesota over Syracuse

Michigan over Kansas State

LSU over Iowa

Georgia over Nebraska

Big 10 will finish 2-5 at best 3-4
You were laughed at for claiming Florida would win 8-9 in the Big 10.

You were laughed at for claiming a team like South Carolina would run the table in the Big 10.

Amongh many other outlandishly stupid things you said.

Not why you were being laughed at.
Go reread the pages... Exactly why I was initially mocked, but personally I don't give a ####
You don't give a #### yet, you kept whining about how you were going to bump things later...then post this?

Seems you do care quite a bit...but won't admit it.

I'm not sure how this is possible:

#10 Oregon (10-2): Alamo Bowl Dec 30th

#14 ASU (10-3): Holiday Bowl Dec 30th

#17 UCLA (9-3): Sun Bowl Dec 31st

#25 USC (9-4): Las Vegas Bowl Dec 21st

Washington (8-4): Fight Hunger Bowl Dec 27th

How the heck is Larry Scott letting this happen? He seems to get it everywhere else when it comes to running a conference. I can't believe this is their schedule. When the playoff comes around, that doesn't affect the lower bowls does it? How does he go about improving their bowl bids going forward?
Karma for their Grandaddy of Them All fetish for all of these years.

On the flip-side, without several miracles the B12 is getting ready to have a horrible bowl record:

Fiesta: Baylor v. UCF - W

Sugar: OU v Bama - L

Cotton: OSU v Mizzou - W/L

Alamo: UT v Oregon - L

BWW: KSU v Michigan - W/L

Holiday: TTU v Arizona St. - L

How many conferences can claim their champ ended up with the easiest match-up?

I don't get it....the B1G has the same fetish and has bowl tie-ins that are just fine.

Big travels. Pac doesn't. Pretty much all you need to know.

I guess....I was just taken back by their bowl ties...hadn't really paid attention in the past.

Why do people care about conferences anyhow? I'm a UCLA fan. I couldn't give a #### how the rest of the PAC12 does (except for rooting for USC to lose).

Because being a conference honk makes people say stupid #### like this:

1. Oregon would put up 50 against Auburn and beat them by 20.

2. Stanford would put put up 21 against Auburn and beat them by 10.

3. UCLA would win at least half the time.

4. USC would win about a third of the time.

There I said it.

Looks like "KICK AN FIELD GOAL", which I'm sure is perfectly fine in Alabama. Nice work.
That's what I thought it said at first but when I pulled closer it looked just like "AH" - now the owner/operator may have meant "AN" but was so drunk his "N" looked like a "H". The best part was I'm pretty sure they used something like electrical tape to do it.
Quite a bit of awesome in that picture IMO.

 And people think I'm the one with no football knowledge around here.1. Oregon would put up 50 against Auburn and beat them by 20.

Sure. I believed that then. (pretty stupid wasn't I?) but even when I wrote that, I would have rooted for Auburn over most of those teams.

Outside of Arizona/SD/LA, what destination west of the Rockies is even remotely attractive for a bowl game? Someone mentioned SF, but how's the weather this time of year?
Same as it usually is.Seattle would be a great destination too. Awesome city. They got rid of the dome though.

Denver wouldn't work for a bowl either given their current setup, but, again, awesome city. Need a dome to host a bowl though.

That said, I hope this year's Super Bowl is a big success, so it opens up the window to more cold weather bowls. Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco are all fantastic destinations. I'd go there 3 and 5+ times before I'd ever go to Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, Tampa, etc. again.
Denver would be snowy, but Seattle? I was there in February about 20 years ago and it snowed and was somewhat cold. Am I missing something?
Denver gets a whole lot less snow than you think.

If I rooted for a team that I thought would play for a title in my lifetime I would definitely root for teamsn in my conference when they are playing outside the conference. The actuality and/or perception of the SEC being the best conference has factored in to them playing in the championship game some years.

Wait, I thought Tim was an Auburn fan because he went to a game a few years ago or something. Or is my notebook wrong for once?

:goodposting: I was willing to wreck my car to stay up with him to get the picture. Granted I drive an old POS Accord and live a mostly boring life so that was probably the highlight of my week.

not if you just dominate everyone.

Tim,

Can you give us your current rankings? I need a good laugh. TIA
Anything for you sir. 1. Alabama

2. Florida State

3. Auburn

4. Stanford

5. LSU

6. Everybody else.

I would favor those 5 to beat anyone they played. If they played each other on a neutral field, I would favor the winner in order of my ranking.

I just don't understand the LSU love. Especially now with Mett out with a torn ACL. A three loss team having to start a back up freshman qb is not the 5th best team in the nation. No offense TF & JoeT.

Well, at least 1 thru 4 are right (perhaps the wrong order). What's happening after that though, Tim, is a disaster.

I just think their defense is on a par with Alabama and Stanford. What team, not on my list of 5, would you favor tI beat LSU on a neutral site?

Mizzou

South Carolina

Michigan State

Clemson

UCLA
OK.

All of them would be competitive with LSU no doubt (except, IMO, Clemson). But I wouldn't favor any of them. Which is why I rank LSU where I do. You forgot to mention Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, and Baylor, all of which I think are better than Clemson, btw. Clemson doesn't impress me much.

Finally this guy says something that makes sense.

LSU has more talent than most teams in the country on D but they are young. 5 starters are Soph or Fresh. They don't play well enough as a group to be on par with teams like MSU, ect. Raw talent, they are better. It's a team game though.

Is the correct SEC/Alabama abbreviation for "another" "an"? Would make sense. Hey Bama, kick another field goal. Guy may have run out of black tape. That stuff doesn't grow on (poisoned) trees ya know.

Pffft.

Such haters, I'll be back when the Big 10 loses more than half of their bowl games.
Why?

I thought you don't give a ####?
3 comments from you and you weren't even involved in any of the conversation...

Like someone who wouldn't fight 1-1, but if 6 of their friends were involved you'd come running along like a tough guy.
The response Id expect from someone who can't answer for their own comments.

BTW...Ill address you 1-1 anytime you want...seems you are bring up fighting for some reason...making you the one trying to be some tough guy.

Guess who just scored two faculty tickets @ FACE VALUE to the national championship?
Faculty order forms just hit the online accounts. Auburn released them at midnight. For donors the cutoff was 7,500 TUF points to get 2. Each school got 20,000. I had one account that got 2 BCS that didn't get SEC tickets. Last I had a confirmed number, SEC schools used to get 16,800 per school so makes sense a larger number of people will get tickets.

You need to make sure your faculty person gets their order in. I think they have til 5 PM Thursday.

A blind hog finds an acorn every once in a while.

Can anyone verify this statement:

Mack Brown has 6 years and 40 million dollars left on his contract, but If Texas buys out Mack Brown before December 31st 2014, he will only be owed 2.7 million dollars.
Seen it posted lots of places, but nowhere overly credible.

It's happening :lmao:
