Basically her argument seems to be everybody involved is a Florida State fan who would risk their career to cover this up.

If someone was going to tamper with the samples, then wouldn't they have made sure it was a no-match? They should just give her $50k so she can shut up and go back to chasing ambulances, and trying to sue insurance companies over sinkhole claims. Or whatever it is lawyers in Dade CIty do.

Spurrier being Spurrier

<snip>

Asked about the speeding ticket issued to star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, Spurrier said, "I didn't know Jadeveon's car could go that fast.

He doesn't have a pretty car like those FSU guys used to drive."

...

"Somebody told me the Gators are going to be home for the holidays," Spurrier said. "Maybe we can get a bunch of Gators to come to our ballgame and help fill up the stands."

I still can't believe that pass interference call on Miami. :lmao: So terrible.

No big deal though.... it only cost them a National Championship.

Assuming they win in a few weeks it's going to be hard to ever top this season. Perfect season, killed everybody, Heisman, Gators went 4-8. I should just stop watching now.

(I won't stop watching)

LSU is a very good bowl team when playing good to great teams. In mediocre bowls vs mediocre competition their record is not great.

Love the list though thanks.

So Tampa will be the first non-BCS host to get it.
So are the playoff games just one of the big 4 bowls? How will they decide which playoff for what bowl?

I think the playoff games aren't going to be bowl games. They are extra games that just happen to be played at the bowl sites.

Yep, there are four "major" bowls plus two semi-finals totaling 12 teams that the committee chooses sort of. These are the matchups when that particular bowl is not one of the semi-finals.

Rose - Big Ten #1 vs Pac-12 #1

Sugar - SEC #1 vs Big-12 #1 - This is what people were referring to as the Champions Bowl last year for some odd reason

Orange - ACC #1 vs Notre Dame, SEC #2, or Big Ten #2

Fiesta, Cotton, and Peach - Six at-large teams and non Power 5 teams (such as UCF, Fresno, No. Illinois) can qualify also.

Next year the Rose and Sugar are the semi-finals.

Not having the Pac-12 network on DTV is going to end up being crushing, is my guess.
Yeah, Larry Scott has been great for the Pac-12, and I understand to an extent trying to get the best deal you can, but you would think he would have had some discussions and sense with DirecTV as to how high they'd go.

Making deals with other carriers for prices that DirecTV won't match hurts. Then again, Dish Network's execs have been hinting lately about a possible merger with DirecTV, so maybe we'll get it that way.

- only thing that worries me about Oregon State is they haven't won a game since 10/19. Five straight conference losses to end season.

- N. Illinois goes from potential BCS game to Poinsettia Bowl. Seems weird for small school, but this has to be a letdown, no?

- who wants to be in El Paso less, Oregon or Texas?

True. They're probably both very happy to be playing in San Antonio, then.

So I didn't remember the Alamo, big deal. Still have to think that Oregon was looking at a bigger bowl and Texas has had a bunch of upheaval.

Plus Texas doesn't have to travel far for its disappointing bowl.

And it's the sendoff game for Mack. I think Texas takes this one.

I'm just saying that I'm ranking the Alamo Bowl very low on the confidence chart. I think Oregon is the better team but Texas will be the more motivated and maybe more distracted team.
