Seriously, how many teams from the SEC in the preseason top 10? I say 4
probably could make an argument for six. Ohio, Michigan State, TCU, and Oklahoma will be up there but who else? This is why they shouldn't do polls before November though. The difference between five and twenty is razor thin, a lot of questions needing answered to separate them.

I can't wait to hear Phyllis call Finebaum. Hope someone posts it here because I couldn't possibly listen to that show.

THE DYNASTY IS NOT OVER!!
Phyllis sounds exactly like a caller that used to phone into a local Portland radio show under the name "Sec Fan" with the same cadence and rhetoric, only Sec Fan was male. Weird.

Pretty sure all that is left is to go off on a tangent that the playoff was invented just for this reason, to give everyone an extra chance to trip up Bama/SEC.

You are not doing your avatar proud in here, Wade. If that is your real name...
He's done a good job reminding me why I dislike Ohio State.
Oh stop...Ohio State and the B1G have been a punching bag on this board for years, especially this one...they exact a little revenge and now you're going to boo hoo about some posts I rehash? Man some of you are sensitive.

My apologies to you all.
While I hate Ohio State, but I gotta back up WG here. Our conference did better than most of you thought.

B1G! B1G! B1G! B1G!

Oregon honks...were any of those classless dooshbags doing the "no means no" chant starters or significant contributors? Are they going to be available for the championship game?

First I have heard about it. I was at game and didn't see it. Not cool. Have to watch the replay.

There is some small irony in the fact that a rape chant was placed into a racist chant and you all are only butt hurt about one and not the other. Maybe Oregon was out of line but Winston, and other role players on FSU if I'm not mistaken, have put themselves into precarious positions that lead to this stuff.

Maybe this is why FSU players went straight to the locker room after the game?
Herbstreit was laying into them about that.

If the Seminole Indian tribe is fine with the chant so am I. If it's "racist" to you, that's on you and has nothing to do with using rape as a punchline.

Ever hear of a caller who goes by 'Big Ten Steve' out there?

Is that really out of the norm though? I know the 2 Qb's and the 2 coaches are almost always seem shaking hands after the game, but these college teams have 80+ guys dressed out sometimes. I guess I've never paid enough attention, but I don't really recall a big group hug of 150+ guys after a game.

I don't care about either but it certainly can be construed that way whether an individual tribe is ok with it or not. Some women are into having violent sex, does that make it ok no matter what? People just need to lighten up about things. Jokes are neither in good nor bad taste, they're jokes.

:lmao: :lmao: WTF

Some of you more stupid here shouldn't try to make analogies.

Nah he's right dude. Let's go no analogies for now.

OSU fans had a lot of pent up rage toward Bama and SEC. Wonder if that carried over to the team. In any case I also have to wonder if they feel like team of destiny or team of justified placement. Urban didn't know how bad Oregon whooped FSU and had a classic reaction. All of that worries me. If I was unbiased in my betting I would take what Vegas is giving Oregon right now. I hope OSU feels they need to justify themselves more than beating an overrated SEC because Oregon will not #### around.
Bama has a lot of flaws that OSU exposed. I have a feeling Oregon would have embarrassed Alabama. Might do us some good to have lost. No way we could keep up with Oregon with our qb and our shoddy pass defense.

But OSU matches up differently. I think they can beat Oregon based on what I saw last night. I personally think Oregon will win by a touchdown, but OSU will give them a physical game and make it close.
these two teams met in the rose bowl a few years back. Oregon was on a similar run. They weren't quite as good as they are now but they were pretty good and OSU was just as fast and bigger. OSU ended up winning the game physically.

I am pretty certain once again OSU will be just as physical as previous versions. The difference seems to to be that ORegon just handled a very physical FSU team, and they handled both Stanford and Arizona (once out of two meetings) in Pac-12 play, which are the same type of physically dominant defenses that OSU will produce.

I see Oregon winning, once again by double digits. I don't think there's another offense in the country that can compete with their offense, due to Mariota and the fact that they run about 8 plays at 100% efficiency.

you have a right to be vengeful. MSU and OSU are both really, really good.

i'm more impressed with OSU on their 3rd quarterback than any team in recent memory. that's unbelievable

The Seminole Indian tribe [sic] is not fine with the chant. It was only "approved" by a small sub-set of Seminoles that has fewer than 2000 members. The majority of true Seminoles (over 18,000 members) does not approve of FSU using their name or imagery.

You don't need to put approved in quotation marks. The Florida Seminole tribe is all-in with the name and imagery.

If you're a brand name school 2000 is as good as a million.

Yep. Just like Daniel Snyder found several Native Americans who were "all in" with Redskins.
