That said, I think Zeke has the advantage of having a monster playoff run, which since it is after the ceremony, feels like part of this campaign. Plus, like it or not, it's really more of a great job on a great career award instead of one season. See Ron Dayne.

It's also not a "who would make the best NFL player award" either. See Smith, Troy and Torretta, Weurful, and Jason White amongst many other Heisman winners who were never even really considered by the NFL.
