***Official 2020 Michigan Football*** (2 Viewers)

Next week will be....well, interesting.  If the team that showed up for Iowa and the first half of Indiana shows up, it's going to be a long day

It's still the case, though, that to beat us, ya gotta score.  And that's still tough to do.  (Granted, the need might only be 3 points, given recent play ...)

I have a feeling that even if he is not 100% Speight will be the starter. Whether that is enough we will see with OSU being almost a TD favorite at home.

Quoting the Free Press, "If Michigan State can play the Buckeyes’ evenly — MSU lost 17-16 Saturday — with Tyler O’Connor at quarterback, then the Wolverines can give themselves a chance, too. U-M’s defense is better than MSU’s, and so are its receivers."

I'm not typically a big fan of the "Ohio" shtick or the "TTUN" shtick etc.  However, I find high comedy in shtick when the originator can't get it right

Mistakes, specifically turnovers and penalties, were the downfall of Michigan today.  For most of the game they were the better team, but they couldn't close.  ####.

I posted this is the game thread, going to put it here as well

Well now that I've calmed down, some things that I noticed. The Michigan fumble inside the 5 was a killer, however the play before that De'von Smith looked like he could of easily ran to the right and scored, however he tried to truck the Ohio defender, getting tackled at the two. Where the penalties one sided? There are plenty of giffs on social media to see that. But more then that was the play calling. Other then one time when Peppers was on offense did they not run the wildcat. (Which went no where) Peppers was in the backfield as a tailback, they faked a toss sweep to the left and threw a pass to the right for 9 yards. Only ran that type of play once. Ohio was keyed on Peppers every time he was on offense. Another play calling blunder, where in the hell was Mcdoooooooooooooom? Not one touch all game? Michigan was clearly the better team yesterday, but bad play calling, bad turnovers and then some bad calls against them killed them.  Ohio lost a lot of players last year and where able to win this year. Michigan loses a lot of players this year, will they be able to reload? Or are they still years away from winning again in this rivalry?

The offense played poorly and I didn't like the play calling at all.  This team had 43 seniors but somehow still felt very "young".  The defense came to play and tired at the end.  I thought for sure there was going to be some sort of trick play with Peppers at some point.  Seems like the coaches let the moment get to them and went conservative.

I see no possible outcomes this week where Michigan ends up with a playoff bid.  Just think there will be legitimate reasons to rationalize putting another team over them no matter how the weekend plays out.  I think Michigan would of had a shot if OSU was playing in the Big10 Title game.

Nobody talking about the Rams rumor?

I've been rooting for Michigan since Jim went there, going to a divisional rival of SF, so conflicted - I just love this man as much as I could love another man, I hope it isn't true.

He needs to stick it out and at least win one title before leaving.

There is no truth to these rumors.  These will be like the Gruden stuff every year.

Have to consider the sources :coffee:

Rams? That place is a dumpfire. He may as well found a way to stay in SF.
They're in much better shape than SF, although I have stated my opinions on Goff since before the draft (actually a good read in that thread as bunch of people call me an idiot while they heap praise on Goff). Missing that bad on the first pick is def a setback, but Jed York is the worst owner possibly in the history of professional sports.

I think he stays until he gets a ring.

Michigan people seem to be incredibly paranoid about losing Harbaugh. Like 36 hours of this. Chill out. I never said he was going anywhere.
:lmao:   Yeah, it's "paranoid" to mock someone for foolishly starting a rumor that never got off the ground with anyone other than those wanting clicks on their sites
