Jules wanted you to know that the Knob Creek isn't technically a MN product, but it was an exclusive barrel pick for his work and the shipment had just arrived, so he sent a bottle to you. Knob Creek aged the bourbon in multiple barrels, then he and his boss tasted from all the barrels and picked the one they liked best. Your bottle is from that barrel.

Sweet. I knew the bottle wasn’t “off the shelf”. Jules and I exchanged some wine YEARS ago. He knows his stuff. 120 proof. . I did something similar with Rabbit Hole bourbon for my work. I was one of the tasters to choose which barrel would strictly for us. I’m a noob when it comes to whiskey.
