Dang, stuck with a hotel near the stadium tomorrow night.....where nearby is family friendly to watch the game? Xfinity allow kids or would it ruin thm for life?šŸ˜‚
Family friendly but gonna be super crowded. If the weather is nice they have the big screen on outside it.
That's pretty much it right there by the stadiums though right?

This rainout really is big for the Phils. Houston was in the same division as Thor and so they know exactly what to expect. He's not all that good to begin with. Now the Phils go with Ranger in game 3 which is a huge upgrade. The Astros already had a lot of starting pitching depth so I'm not sure how much this benefits them. The Phils on the other hand get to avoid pitching their weakest link.

Yes the old holiday in is now a hotel/casino

Eta: you can go into McFadden's from the outside without going into stadium (at least you used to be able too) but I'm sure that will be packed also

Yep

The energy in Philly is second to none this playoffs. You can feel it feel it through the screen. Wish Houston home games were nearly as intimidating.

Not looking like Houston's night. Even Bohm hitting for power. His glove has really impressed me this post season.

That's probably it for McCullers this postseason. Not sure how they can trust him after this outing. They'd be better off trying a bullpen game (possibly including McCullers as part of that). Dude missed a ton of the season so this was sort of to be expected.

The Astros blowing it again would be objectively hilarious.

The manager of the Astros (the buffoon Dusty Baker) saw his opponent hit 3 HRs in 2 innings against his pitcher and decided to leave him in to ensure that the game would be completely out of hand. There is a reason this guy has never won a WS.

Tipping his change up
I wonder if that’s what Harper said to Bohm.

Does Dusty have money on the Phillies tonight?
I don't know what was actually said. But he's not throwing fastball, so they either picked up when he is or his release. If you know a fastball ain't coming it's easier
i want your damn silent chainsawing gears of *** to get a ring but in return speak nicely of moniak!
Have I trashed moniak?

no, i meant people in real life, this board is free of that thanks to joe b and people having a nice season

It sounds like Wheeler is shot. He's got a dead arm or some sort of injury that will prevent him from being 100%. Game 2 his velo was down a tick and he was missing his spots. I'm concerned about him.

Nola has now sucked in back to back playoff games, I'm expecting a gem from him tonight.

If the Astros get down 3-1 I don't expect this to go back to Houston. Justin Verlander has been abysmal in his WS appearances of late.

Nola got lucky that ball was hit so hard but 3 straight games he comes up small. Hopefully the bullpen will remain clutch and somehow get out of this.
