It’s far from overyeah this week has been a roller coaster and the last 2 games has sucked the fun out of most of it. getting a week away and hopefully the Phil's do something in the off-season should make for a fun season next yearI feel numb
here is hoping...... that is the case. taking 2 in a row in Houstson won't be easy. It’s far from overyeah this week has been a roller coaster and the last 2 games has sucked the fun out of most of it. getting a week away and hopefully the Phil's do something in the off-season should make for a fun season next yearI feel numb

That was fundamentally one of the worst pieces of base running I have seen in awhile. Not only was it a slow dribbler that barely made it to the OF'r there was only 1 out which is the opportune time to take a chance at getting the 3rd so you are there with one out. If there was 0 or 2 outs there might be some level of debate to play it safe and stay but with one out you have to be going to 3rd 100% of the time on that ball.Hensley not getting to 3rd on that slowwwwww Maldonado single to right field is some epicly horrible base running.
That Altuve grounder is a MUCH trickier play if there are runners on 1st and 3rd there.
I wonder why most only wear one. I get the idea of being the inside hand but there are times when you have to go back to a bag and then you don't have the mitt on that hand. Also you never know how you will have to slide on any given throw so there times why you might have to use the other hand. If you are going to protect up might as well go all the way.I loathe the safety oven mitts
Mainly the throwing hand or dominant sliding hand. But agreeI wonder why most only wear one. For a guy who swings at everything, I can’t believe he took that one. It was a ball but it was pretty close.I don't blame Castellanos on that last one though. That was a ******** call.
I didn't like it.Boy hindsight and all but taking out Wheeler? WTF what a case of over managing.
Said it to my friends in real time. He basically gave up one single in that inning that wasn’t even that hard hitBoy hindsight and all but taking out Wheeler? WTF what a case of over managing.
i feel for Alvarado though. he has pitched pretty well all post-season, last 2 games has left a sour taste after an overall good playoff runSaid it to my friends in real time. What? You don't need to leave the box, you need to attempt to "get out of the way"....Maldanodo shouldn't have been awarded first. Made zero attempt to leave the box. Utley did this all the time and it still pisses me to this day. Should also be rewarded to pitcher as a strike or automatic out. Also the Umps balls and strikes have been horrible. ESPN Strike zone has a called strike outside that might have been far enough inside the batters box it hits the batter
I actually didn’t realize that was a rule but you’re correct. I agree with you but he sort of, kind of pulled his elbow back a little bit. Not enough but how can they overturn that?Maldanodo shouldn't have been awarded first. Made zero attempt to leave the box. Utley did this all the time and it still pisses me to this day. crazy when they show the crowd and you can see empty seats

We should celebrate the Astros for not cheating and stealing signs. Congrats!
Think I’m going to break out my “Bang foul poles, not trash cans” shirt for old times sake tomorrow. We should celebrate the Astros for not cheating and stealing signs. Congrats!
Because they have. But Thompson going to Alvarado when wheeler still was at 70 pitches let us down just as much.can't be too upset with the Phillies' pitchers, seeing they only have 2 hits tonight going into the 8th makes me think the bats have really let the team down the last 3 games

Thats like cheering for DeShaun Watson for listening to a girl saying NO to him. We're celebrating someone not doing something they knew was wrong to begin with. And role wonder why this country is so *** backwards
