I knew Scottie was shady
LOL. But that wasn't in reference to my comments, was it? I love Scheffler. My take on how the PGA handled an identical violation is a totally different topic. And I figured people here might shed more light, I don't follow it that closely.

And a "leak" is anything but an excuse for it.

Yes/no. People online commenting on Xander and Rory.

Then we find out it happened to Scheffler.

By all accounts is a good dude.

Plus his stupid arrest....

It was just a joke ;)

Not "professional" golf, but still impressive.

Florida caddy Marc Dull won a US amateur 4 ball round of 16 match himself this morning against a former championship team.

His partner had to fly home to Florida for his daughter's graduation this morning so he's currently playing the quarterfinals match 1 v 2 as well

Make it a non-issue. Have the manufacturers distribute new driver heads to their pros on Tuesday at each tourney. Who cares if they don’t have much time to break them in. They’re pros. Adapt.

Guy lost on the 18th hole of the quarter-finals.

Great story! Apparently he’s local here in Tampa out of Streamsong. I wonder if you can request specific caddies.

You can indeed. We played there last year and one of our guys goes with his college group every year and requested a guy they always have. Denver was his name. Funny guy.

Women’s US Open started yesterday. I watched the Nelly, Lexi, Charley group for a few holes.
By the time the 1st one’s tee shot stopped rolling the next one had her ball teed up and was over it ready to go.
There needs to be more of this

for those interested
the window for applying for masters tix just opened
i'm gonna get tix this year - i'm sure of it

The 14th hole at Erin Hills is playing 91 under for the tournament
The rest of the course is 890 over par

Scottie is just at a different level. It's like we're shocked when he makes a bad shot. He hit a few today, bad tugs with wedges. Still - didn't faze him. Comes right back and makes a great shot. He's becoming Tiger-esque.

Pretty awesome scene unfolding in Columbus.

5 way playoff for the last spot in the open about to start. Homa, Fowler, Cam young among the 5.

Homa 3 putt bogey on 18 to fall into it. I believe Fowler and Young both birdied.

Just because I'm dumb.

The Open or the U.S. Open?

Idk when they stopped calling it the British Open but that was a dumb choice.

sorry....US Open

Young got through on the first playoff hole with a birdie. Fowler out. Other 3 had to play for the first alternate spot (which could still get in if some world ranking stuff breaks right for other guys next week)

Golf at its purest. It doesn’t even matter if you’ve won the thing before (Webb)…gotta earn it!

Never tried...you? I just never reengaged at that level after college...but I did caddie twice (B'ham CC). We got really close on one to advancing...and I was a nervous wreck. My golfer/friend never asked me back!

I'm a much better caddie now for my son...

Oh God no. I STINK.

I thought you were the guy around here who had done some mini-tour time but I might be mixing you up with someone else.

I think that was like ChrisCooleyFan or something?

Not sure what to think of Rory going into the US Open. Hard to believe that he and the TaylorMade team wouldn't be able to come up with a driver that works for him. Maybe they can disguise an old M2 for him. Or maybe he just lost that fire to grind after completing the slam.

Shocking. So the driver had a hot face. You tone that down and maybe it loses a bit of distance, but can't see how this would cause him to suddenly miss fairways. I'm sure he's swinging the same shaft and the clubhead has to be similar if not the same.

He openly said he doesn't practice as much post Masters win didn't he?

The Open Championship. For whatever reason the guy that runs "the majors" pools i get into doesn't do it for The Open.

Who do you got?

scottie hit his second shot into 17 and as he's posing the mic catches the longest fart :lmao: commentators started to laugh. On the replay they show the whole thing again and once again laugh and say it's a stinky green :lmao:

Lǐ Hàotóngleading by 1 (-9)

111th OWGR

finished 3rd at the 2017 Open when he was just 21
Really good pro!
But the accolades for his success at 15 aren’t real. My son plays vs several Chinese born kids…they admittedly faked their age coming into the US. In the end you are still a big stage winner, just not at the crazy age.
