***OFFICIAL 5TH PICK*** 12 TEAM 1/2 PPR (1 Viewer)

Just landed the 5th pick in a 1/2 PPR league.  After seeing the huge drop-off in RB's and how others have struggled with getting decent RB's in later rounds (I know this is up for debate), why not take Gordon, McCoy or Freeman here?  1/2 PPR gives me flexibility in round 2 to go either RB or WR.  Most likely I go WR, unless someone one of the last RB 2nd tier falls.  3rd round is best player available.

Full PPR I have no problem taking OBJ or Jones here.  Some things fell my way later in the draft.  1/2 PPR, I just feel like I need to lock in a solid RB1.

I keep wavering on the best approach.  The drop off at RB really scares me, which has me thinking going Gordon or Freeman is the best choice (not feeling real high on McCoy).  But I'm in a 10 teamer, 2 QB league, and if I could feel fairly certain I could get Murray in the 2nd, I'd rather pair him with OBJ or Julio.

In your situation, I think I would go RB first.

McCoy scares me a bit, but i'm not as high on Gordon as everyone else either.  In your 10 Team 2QB league, looks like a RB will be there in rd 2 as some QB's should be off the board.
