Correct, since I got a 2nd silver WR from No.16, Anthony Carter needed to go so figured I'd move up and also get another pick to replace Carter with.Dante Lavelli & Don Maynard & Gold WR I drop Emmitt for = $

To clarify, there you cannot release any drafted players and pick up any "free agents" until after the draft. How are we going to organize who has dibs to any free agent/released players? Or will it just be a free for all?If my pick comes up, you may have to wait a little bit for me. I'm just heading into the office now and I figure to be busy this morning. I will get to my pick eventually...

good question. what do you guys think is a fair system to handle the free agency after the draft?

We can do it two ways.Free for allOr we stick to the draft position for one round following the end of this draft. Then yet ANOTHER round as sorta a waiver wire.
 
At 10.4, the Overland Park Orcas select John Offerdahl, ILB

Following the pick, members of the Orcas training staff place a bag of flaming excrement on the porch of the SR388 franchise. Based on the SR388 draft picks, plenty of excrement was available on-site for this mission.

I remember it being said somewhere in this thread that we could add undrafted players/drop drafted ones once the draft was over but don't recall anything being said about how to do it. Free4all would be bad so we need some type of waiver order.I say invert the original order.

so you think we should add a few rounds to the draft and wait for owners to declare if they want to make an add/drop or not?just trying to clarify how you would handle a waiver order.

save yourself the headache Commish and set it to FFA.

let's wait until the draft is over,see how many owners want to make changes and go from there.

i know... that was my initial reaction, but I wanted to listen to, and think about alternatives.
 
FFA may be the way so we're not waiting for people's turn in free agents. Are we going to have that many? I think I'm making 1 waiver move.

What did I lie about? Allen not being able to break the 1st tackle often? That's true, but I'm a Raider homer and late in the draft decided I wanted to mess around with Marcus Allen for old times sake. Instead of following my original draft plan and drafting a receiver with my gold pick and absolutely demolishing everyone b/c they don't a legend in their secondary positions.

I'm really surprised you didn't go for a gold WR instead of a RB. I thought thats why you were trying to get rid of Levili or what ever his name is. Thought it was dumb of Bruce for handing stabler over to you and giving you the option to get a gold WR.But I'm glad you decided to go the RB route and maybe have realized this is for fun and the games aren't going to be televised. :rolleyes:as far as lying... you were downplaying Allen and might have swayed weasel from drafting him. then you scoop him up late in the draft. there might have been a little smokescreen there.
