I don’t even know if it will be this long. Granted there are some younger players in the “D” league but there are adults there and they are going to laugh at some little 16-17 year old trying to tell them what to do.TLEF316 said:Yeah they'll be home by Valentine's day.

After that first shot, I could not stop watching!!! Amazing!!!!!The new LaMelo Ball mixtape is out and it's :fire:

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if UCLA somehow go some fraud alert up on Ball's credit card while he was in China because that shoplifting spree was true gift for them.Of note: I know these kids are half white, but according to the census there are only 252 black people in all of Lithuania.
UCLA has to be very happy. They got the one good player, then were able to ditch the Dad by sticking the middle kid on the end of the bench. Otherwise they'd be dealing with this debacle for about 6 more years.
I’m taking the under.LiAngelo and LaMelo sign with Vytautas of the Lithuanian league.
Honestly, what LaVar is doing to these kids is a shame. That said, I can't help but smirk when you read the article.
- Prienu Vytautas, or BC Prienai as it's often called, is a low-level club from a small, non-English speaking village of roughly 10,000 people in southern Lithuania.
- The team has been grappling with financial issues.
- The club plays in a 1,700-seat arena; 500 of those seats are reserved for team sponsors and their friends. Tickets cost around 5 euros.
I'm sure these spoiled kids are going to love living in a town of 10,000 in Lithuania playing in front of 1,700 people who paid $6 (six bucks!) to get into the game, 99% of which will no doubt despise their lazy asses. I'm setting the over/under at 28 days. What a train wreck.
I've thought the same thing. Obviously he's an incredibly dominant personality but her illness absolutely gives him free reign.I wonder if the wife wasn't sick of she'd allow this. He has free reign with her being so sick.
Would he really get much more development playing high school, AAU, and 1 year of college?I really feel bad for the youngest son. He was a legit pro prospect who will never get the development he needs. Awful.
As opposed to the Lithuanian D league? Yes, he would get substantially more development.Would he really get much more development playing high school, AAU, and 1 year of college?
If the kid has talent, and the work ethic, he'll make it to the NBA.
I doubt it. He was always going to be coached by his dad. That is still the case.As opposed to the Lithuanian D league? Yes, he would get substantially more development.
At ucla he would be coached by ucla's staff. They did a pretty good job with Lonzo.I doubt it. He was always going to be coached by his dad. That is still the case.
There is a path here, where playing against bigger and stronger players will also help his development more than playing against high school kids.
I am not saying he will make it to the NBA - but this is not really a roadblock to that path - its just a different path. (Admittedly, there are probably no Lithuanian D leaguers who have made it to the NBA - but that is only slightly worse odds than a HS player making it to the NBA...)
It's absolutely a more difficult path. To think it's not is a bit out there. Of course he's getting better coaching and training here in the US, and especially at UCLA when he would've went there (which should be out of the question now), than he is in Lithuania. Toss on top of this what a pain in the ### his dad is, and I'm afraid scouts aren't going out of their way to champion for this kid.I doubt it. He was always going to be coached by his dad. I just don't know what to tell you if you think this is not a significant step back in both coaching and talent faced.

Right, so does any of this #### even matter? These boys aren't real prospects. Whether they are in Lithuania or LA, does it change their future at all? You know aside from the UCLA education and all. Best I can tell, being in LA would get them an extra stupid person to buy these shoes or 3, but other than that, 6 and a half dozen the other, right?TLEF316 said:Yeah, a barely professional team in Lithuania has absolutely zero incentive to develop lamelo as a player. They don't have the resources or expertise to do so even if they wanted to. They don't even have the money to practice every day.
They're paying for the Balls as a sideshow for a little publicity and a temporary bump in ticket sales so they can fix the ice machine or something.
The other players and coaches will grow tired of this right around the time that Lamelo's first 35 footer misses the rim by 2 yards. And Lavar will be over it the first time his boys don't get their 65 shots.(which will be game 1). The boys are already tired of it.
This is even better than I could have possibly imagined. The new LaMelo Ball mixtape is out and it's :fire:

This is actually exactly what I expected it to look like. This is even better than I could have possibly imagined.

Whoa whoa whoa.... I'm not sure selling a couple hundred pairs of sneakers gives you vast wealthThis guy and Trump should use their vast wealth, buy an island, and disappear together.
Which is why I had to include Trump.Whoa whoa whoa.... I'm not sure selling a couple hundred pairs of sneakers gives you vast wealth
In the video, Ball tries to drive to the lane and misses a shot. It didn’t look like there was a ton of contact or an aggressive foul on the play. As both players are walking back toward the court, Ball’s opponent touches the back of his head. Ball responds by slapping him in the face, and that leads to shoves and limbs flailing wildly.
Ball was ejected for his actions during the brawl.
Wtf are you talking about? Kid had a real chance to develop playing with the likes of Bartas Aleksandravicius, Egidijus Dimsa, & company. As opposed to the Lithuanian D league? Yes, he would get substantially more development.

If you aren’t going to learn from greats like Martynas Linkevicius, you might as well walk away from the game.
