There was no way Derrick was winning that endurance comp against Cody.

It was funny later on though when Victoria was questioning Derrick's integrity and he basically came back with "the strategy was for you to win the endurance comp (1st leg) and I win the mental comp (2nd leg). You fell off after 20 minutes! You said you were going to win!" Shut her down pretty good.

I doubt it happens until tomorrow or Saturday given it was endurance in part 1.

Wonder why they waited so long for that comp?I didn't really like the idea of them using that now,a few weeks earlier when you have more people always made this one a good one but not this time.

Agree, and the HGs are speculating the same (Fri and Sat). Plus I'm not sure the production crew could turn around sets that fast?

Feeds have been down for a few hours now though, so something is happening (maybe a luxury meal or something).

I would guess a final 3 party for them,they normally do this every year.

Derrick wins 2nd leg, immediately congratulates Cody on being garunteed 50k. The way they've been chumming it up the past couple days.. Cody is in for a HUGE surprise if Derrick takes Vic. Vic is breaking down after losing the comp (she can't believe she lost) and Derrick can't tell her he's taking her to final. This has got to be tough on Derrick, mentally, but planning how you're going to spend your 500k(plus) is a good distraction.

Derrick swore on everything but his family that he's taking Cody to the final 2, he's selling it hard. I don't think he thinks he's better than even odds to win the final HOH comp. Has anyone ever thrown the final HOH comp? Is that even possible?

I missed this but early in the season all the guys made a pact that if any of them take Vic to final 2, they'll all vote her to win. Cody and Derrick were talking about that tonight.

I'm getting this feeling Cody is going to win this game. Derrick will have to "come from behind" so to speak with the final questions and speech.

Exactly. Victoria is making this house miserable since losing the 2nd comp. Cody is annoyed that Derrick won't flat out tell Vic he's not taking her (so she'll stop arguing with Derrick to get his vote), Derrick is frustrated. He summed it up last night with "I haven't faught this much with my wife during our whole relationship". Derrick tells Cody he'll understand why he's handling it this way when he's 30 (I guess Derrick sees Vic as a daughter?).

Looking back, Cody played a pretty good game. Derrick was the mastermind, but Cody played a significant role in the Hitmen, and he won more of the crucial comps towards the end. Plus the HGs generally liked and got along better with Cody. We're expecting the jury to see Derrick's genius the way we saw it and vote that way, I think Derrick's genius was over their heads (except Donny), and he's going to have to sell them on it at the finale. That's why I say Derrick will have to come from behind with the questions/speech. My guess before finale:

Cody = Jocasta, Christine, Donny

Derrick = Victoria (no matter what), Frankie, Caleb

???? = Nicole, Hayden, Zach

Zach doesn't matter, Hayden/Nicole will vote the same way and decide it. Nic would push to vote Derrick winner and Hayden would be happy to go along. 6-3 or 5-4 for Derrick. But I won't be shocked if Cody wins.

True, she saw him working.

I was thinking, Cody is obviously in the final 2 because Derrick chose him and carried him there (we know that). I think Derrick could have made final 2 with quite a few HGs as his chosen partner, including Nicole. Cody's biggest asset was the girls LOVED him, but Derrick didn't need that to win, it just made it a little easier.

So even if Derrick did cut Cody and take Victoria to the F2 with him do you think Cody would hold that against him?

I just don't see any scenario where Victoria wins no matter how pissed they would be she's in F2,I see it as they saw what Derrick was doing and used it as a threat against him in case it did go this far.

The threat is Frankie convincing the guys to stick with that pact. Right near the end Frankie started getting really bittered and threatened to the guys that he would control the jury vote if they voted him out.

I think he was blowing smoke, but it's all about perception. These fools don't know how good Derrick really was.

I just don't see Frankie being able to control the jury especially after the way he acted just before going out.

I still don't see Cody getting more than 2 votes against Derrick.As bad as Donny didn't like how Derrick didn't work with him he is a fan of the game and will vote for the best player which was clearly Derrick and it's really not even close.

I like Cody and hope Derrick throws him a bone and gives him 50k but what I really want to see if Cody does win HOH is take Victoria but he just can't do it because of his mancrush.

My prediction if it's Derrick vs Cody is 8-1 or 9-0 Derrick.

Last day of beasting out quesadillas and crushing some ZZZs for the HGs. The feeds are incredibly boring lately (they're supposed to be) but I'm still watching them, trying to get a read on Derrick.
