*** OFFICIAL Blue Jays vs. Royals ALCS thread: Is it 1985 already? *** (1 Viewer)

"So that means David Price will enter free agency with a 0-7 postseason record."

That confident in the Royals, Joe?
He can't get the win
The Jays do still have a chance of winning this series though, meaning he'd get another shot against the Mets. Buck was talking like KC had this thing locked up already.
fair enough. If anyone has dvr rewind it, they showed a graphic of mets vs Royals game 1 too

JFC. Put Davis in at the beginning of this inning and the Royals are batting right now.

Since we have a break...

What does Bautista get for an extension? Jays will pick up his option for next year but I'd guess they lock him up this winter. 5/$100?

Going to give Yost the benefit of the doubt and suggest he knew there was going to be some down time and didn't want to have Davis throwing the 8th because of the long gap between innings.

Sounds like you're right. Madson still sucks though.

Why did the Royals not sacrifice the runners to 2nd and 3rd in the 8th with 0 outs to give them an insurance run.....
Not sure. Moustakas did work to a 3-0 count so in the driver's seat to break it open. Looks like he had 4 sac bunts this year, but not sure about how effective he is at it.

It's hard to feel sorry for a team that couldn't get a guy home from 3rd with no outs, but that 2nd strike call on Revere was dreadful.

Congrats to the Royals.
